Katara dipped her toe in the pool. It was cool, but comforting: just as Yue promised.
After nervously glancing around the area, the waterbender completely stripped down and waded in. The koi fish continued swimming in a circle, undisturbed by her presence. She knew what she was doing was very, very wrong, but Yue's midnight visit had been so compelling. How could she not see where this night might lead?
"Katara." Her voice sounded otherworldly.
The waterbender looked up to find the mystical presence of the moon floating above her. For a moment, Katara felt as though she should cover up her body, but Yue's stare convinced her to not.
"I came," Katara breathed out.
A satisfied smile spread across the spirit's face as she floated closer to the mortal in the water. "Yes," she said gratefully. "You came."
