Hey, decided to try out another fic of mine on this site. Heh. :D Hope you enjoy it. The ideas for Zelda fic never seem to stop. LOL.

Disclaimer: Zelda or Tetra do not belong to me…and neither do link nor Ganondorf nor anything else that Nintendo has created…yeah right. I wish.

Eh...it'll be a little confusing...and also VERY short.

Don't forget to review.

-Prologue…

It was the dawn of day, when-

Two identical girls glared into the eyes which matched their own; weapons locked in a deadly position. One cracked a rueful smile on her lips. "I never hated you, you know," she said still pushing for her life.

"Typical. You were always too much of a child to see how much I hated you," the other replied with a hint of mockery in her light tone. She grunted as she too struggled to overcome strength equal to her own.

The first girl gave a haughty laugh. "You were always jealous of my superior beauty. That is the reason you ran away is it not?" With a clang they somehow managed to push away from the other without a scratch.

One tossed her silky gold hair over a shoulder to show her pride. "Of you!" she exclaimed sarcastically, "Why ever would anyone envy your turn of life? Just look at yourself! A rouge, living off your stolen trash."

"And of you?" the other returned accusingly, "A pirate? Hah! You will be hanged if you manage to survive my blade." She crouched low as if to pounce on her prey, tauntingly fingering the sharp edge of her sword. "Such dishonor," the girl smirked.

"A ship of the seas is a much better place than living in the streets on your own village," her double replied coolly, setting her smoothly curved blade on a shoulder as if this battle was much too easy. When her opponent smirked, it in turn made her give her own smug smile. "I'm bored," she said blutly and readied her weapon, "let's get this over with."

As they charge toward one another, metal clashed and sparks flew. A roar went up in their audience, who were none other than their own followers; bandits and pirates. Amazingly, they had stopped fighting in order to watch their seemingly identical leaders in this current duel. The only difference was one's much darker complexion.

The day wore on and still the rivals continued to fight unceasing, but now the sun was low on the pink stained sky and they were breathing heavily and covered in sweat. Both determined not to be outdone by the other. They locked many times, but separated quickly, neither having enough strength to overcome her opponent in such locked positions.

Again they were where they had first begun, far apart, but much more weary. The lady pirate's chest heaved up and down heavily. "You've proved to be come a more difficult opponent since the years have past…" she grinned as she added with evident loath, "…dear sister."

The younger thief's mouth twitched into a small smile to the title she had not heard in many years. "Same as you…" her voice was rasped from exhaustion, but her smile remained as she uttered her sister's name. "Tetra."

"Another day…" the pirate's twisted smile widened as she sheathed her weapon, "…Zelda, another day."

With that they both collapsed into unconsciousness in comfort to know they had not yet lost.

So? How did you like the prologue? Well…this story is actually going to be told switching back and forth on both girls' point of views. And depending on how many reviews I get, I'll continue…cause…currently, I have no apparent idea how to continue. But, I do know that it will start at the very beginning. From when before the moment they were born.

Now plz do review. I accept flames…but please give me an explanation so that I might correct my work. Please and thank you.

Sincerely, Miya.
