Because this had to be done. Oh and if any of you are ever on Youtube, look up Teiris. Her Tales of the Abyss AMVs are amazing.

Awkward Things That Are Really Confusing

Luke was beginning to find that he did not know much about the world at all. The littlest things fascinated him. So did the not so little things. His habit of filing things away in neat little lists in his head was definitely coming back to bite him.

Guy laughed at him. That was okay; Guy was familiar, safe. He didn't have to worry about Guy because he knew Guy and that meant he didn't have to examine and observe him and sort him. Luke was thankful for that. He'd been thrown into a world where there was so much to see and not having to sort something for once was definitely a relief.

Natalia was familiar too. Even though she was loud and obnoxious, he could safely leave her on the Think-About-Later list. Jade almost made it to that list. Bless that man; he knew exactly how to stay off of Luke's examination radar. Even though he barely knew the colonel, the colonel made it very clear that examining him wouldn't do a damn thing.

Hell, even Anise didn't understand him completely and she knew him the best. So if Anise couldn't understand him, then he could accept that he wouldn't either. Now, Anise…Anise terrified him. She clung to him and made herself known in ways he was most definitely not comfortable with. And once again, Jade stepped in. Luke liked the colonel. He was strange but amazingly tolerable for a person on the Will-Never-Understand list. Most of the people on that list grated on his nerves. Badly.

Like Asch. He didn't understand Asch. He would never understand Asch. He didn't want to understand Asch. That meant talking to him and Luke knew that Asch would eat him alive in a conversation longer than 30 seconds. He didn't know why Asch hated him. He just knew. He had hurriedly filed Asch on the Will-Never-Understand list and decided not to bother with that anymore.

If there was anything he hated more than needing to sort things in his mind it was having to resort them. He'd already sorted them once. Wasn't that enough? Of course, he couldn't stand not having things sorted correctly, so he would resort them anyway.

And of course there was Tear.

Oh, he didn't even know where to start with her. First of all, he wasn't even sure if she liked him or not. Sometimes she was nice to him, other times she wasn't. She was strong too. She could readily defend herself with hymns or that spear/glaive/pointed knife stick thing she used as a weapon. Her weapon was already on the Look-Up-Later list.

The most distracting thing about Tear had to be her boobs. They were ginormous. How could she function with them? Luke continuously found his eyes straying during battle. They bounced when she moved too quickly. Which during a battle was quite often. Luke's not quite teenage mind could not seem to stop fixating itself on Tear's breasts. So Luke did the only thing he could.

He made a new list for Tear and titled it Awkward-Things-That-Are-Really-Confusing.
