Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter

Lucy Weasley grinned up at her Uncle Charlie. She was seated comfortably on his lap, while he told her stories of the past. Lucy loved hearing about his past, especially when he involved the twins and their pranks. Today, he was telling her about how the twins first opened Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. Lucy knew little about Fred, and treasured the stories that her Uncles and Aunts told her about him.

"How's my girl?" Percy strolled into the room, smiling at his daughter. "Telling her more stories, Charlie?"

Charlie looked up, nodding. Lucy also looked up. She jumped from Charlie's lap, rushing to hug her father. Percy wrapped his arms around her willingly. Despite their past, Percy and Charlie had become closer years after the Final Battle.

"What's Uncle Charlie been telling you this time, Luce?"

"About Weasley's Wizard Wheezes," Lucy said happily, she pouted slightly. "I wanted to know about you and Mum's wedding." Out of all the stories she enjoyed hearing, wedding stories were the best. She was a young girl, but wasn't fazed by the idea of love. Lucy turned towards her uncle. "Why don't you get married, Uncle?"

Charlie looked slightly surprised at her question, and hesitated to reply. He thought carefully first. Charlie had never considered getting married, it had crossed his mind a few times, when he saw his brothers and sister get married, but he had never imagined getting married himself. It wasn't that he had never fallen for someone; he had liked a girl, back when he was at Hogwarts. But he hadn't seen Heather in years. Charlie cast a look at his younger brother. Percy shrugged down at him.

"I never found someone I wanted to spend the rest of my life with," Charlie answered, not being entirely honest. He enjoyed the company of dragons, and had little time to be meeting girls. Lucy looked imploringly at him.

"Mum says that you're happy that way," she quoted Audrey.

"I am," Charlie smiled slightly.

"A free-man," Percy joked. "Off to bed now, Luce." He kissed his daughter on the forehead, before pushing her gently out the door. "Mum will be there in a minute."

Charlie stared in wonder at his brother. If you had asked him years ago, he would never had thought that Percy would be married to Audrey, and great with children. He hadn't doubted his brother, but this wasn't what he imagined the future to be like.

"Where's Molly?" Charlie was referring to Percy's older daughter.

"Visiting Victoire," Percy replied, before changing the subject. "Do you remember Heather Jullon?" Charlie nodded, waiting for him to continue. "I saw her the other day, she asked about you."

Charlie thought about the question his niece had asked him earlier.

"I'll owl her," he told Percy, while picking up a quill and parchment.

Finally, Percy smiled secretly to himself.
