Disclaimer: I am just playing this game, so only a copy of it is mine and some fanfictions. Nothing else.
Authors note: Well another Psychonauts Fanfiction, seems like the ideas just keep coming after I started to play the game for a second time. I fear Psychonauts is going to settle into my lifetime obsessions together with YGO and Star Wars. I never thought a game would interest me that much.
Well here a little Sasha/Milla story in two parts, but since they are really short and belong together I didn't bother to put them into separate chapters. I hope you enjoy it!

Control
It was funny, Sasha thought. When he was fighting at Millas side he felt more in control then ever. Just knowing that she was standing or floating next to him made him feel completely relaxed. As if nothing could go wrong when she was there; when they were fighting together.
But at the same time, when they weren't on a mission, she was the one who unsettled him the most. It always hit him completely by surprise, just the way her hair was falling, the way she smiled her always serene smiles, how her hands moved when she said something, all those small things suddenly seemed to overtake his mind. Destroying every bit of his control in one moment.
He didn't know why it only kept happening around her and it was one of the few riddles he didn't wanted to dig into deeply. Sasha had an idea why it always happened around Milla that his mind went haywire, but it was an option he wouldn't accept. After all they were just partners.
Still he kept every little present she gave him, no matter how tacky it was.
Of course he hid it so none of the children would find it, or Ford Cruller, or Morry, or someone else. But not because it was something special to him.
Of course not.
Rhythm
It was funny, Milla thought. How Sasha always denied that he was a good dancer, and that he had no Rhythm. Because when they fought at each others side, this was how things worked. Rhythm. They were moving in unison, always in synch with each other.
It was like dancing to an unknown music, and it was Millas favourite dance. Of course she had many favourite songs and it wasn't that she liked fighting, but somehow it was always pleasant to listen to this sort of music.
But still every other time she was around him, she felt like she was losing her sense of rhythm. In one moment she was moving to the music inside her head and at the next second, as soon as Sasha was near, she was out of it. She was stumbling, not floating anymore and she couldn't find a way to get her rhythm back, until he was gone. Milla thought it was funny how Sasha was the one who made sure she kept her rhythm and at the same time he was the one who threw her out of it. Of course she knew what that meant, had known it from the first second she had laid eyes on him.
But she knew there was no possibility that Sasha would notice it as well. He was always so occupied with other things, that there was no place for her.
Of course not.

Author's note: So here you go. I'll see if I can finish one of my Raz/Lili stories anytime soon, but I doubt it, because there are just too many other stories that call my attention. Anyways, please feel free to comment and as always: please be aware that English isn't my native language and any constructive criticism is appreciated xsmilex.
