The backstory of Emperor Sheev Palaptine / Darth Sidious told in the tune of "Rasputin." "Rasputin" is a 1978 euro disco hit single by the Germany-based pop and euro disco group Boney M., the second from their album Nightflight to Venus. The song is a semi-biographical song about Grigori Rasputin, a friend and advisor of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and his family.

But with Anakin,

he was the man to please.

But he showed his hate,

when he had a neck to squeeze.

For Yoda, he was no wheeler – dealer.

Though he heard the things he'd done.

They believed he was a holy leader,

Oh, but they were wrong.

It was a shame how he killed them all.

But when his thinking and lusting,

and hunger for power,

became known to more and more people,

their demands to do something about this outrageous man

grew louder and louder!

"This man's gotta go!"

declared his enemies.

But Anakin begged,

"Don't you try to do it, please!"

No doubt this Palpatine,

had lots of hidden charms.

Though he was a Sith,

they just fell into his arms.

Then one night, some men of higher standing,

Set a trap, their not to blame.

"Go to visit him" they kept demanding,

and they really came.

They lightsaber dueled him to the death.

Killer of the Jedi Knights.

He fought them all and said "Windu's mine!"

Ruler of the Sith regime.

Mace didn't quit, he wanted his head.

Palpatine fried Mace 'till he was dead.
