Summary: after learning a surprising piece of information from Tharja, Cherche became interested in learning her husband's true name.

"You need what exactly?" Cherche asked with an incredulous expression on her face.
Tharja rolled her eyes, "Like I said, I want to create a special potion, and one of the key ingredients is Wyvern saliva".
"Exactly what type of potion?" Cherche questioned warily, "It better not be harmful or anything along that line".
"Look, I just need your wyvern to donate some saliva, and we can forget this whole exchange happened okay?" Tharja insisted, "Come on; think of it as a favor between sister-in-laws".
Cherche rolled her eyes, true her son did marry this woman's daughter, but Tharja's potion and hexes were well known throughout the camp, and there was no telling what kind of strange effect Minerva's saliva might have.
"Do you want some information in exchange," Tharja bartered, "How about I tell you a secret about your husband".
This piqued Cherche's curiosity, true her husband was a bit older than her, and he seen many things and kept many secrets, so Cherche can't deny that she was interested.
"Did Gregor every told you his name?"
Cherche raised her eyebrow, "His name is Gregor, is it not?"
"Gregor once asked me to perform a séance," Tharja explained, "He wanted to make peace with his brother after failing to save him from death".
Cherche sighed, "Gregor once told me he wanted to talk to you about that, but I already knew about it".
"Did you know his brother's name?"
"No…What is it?"
"Gregor".
"Excuse me?"
"I'm not lying, his brother's name was Gregor, and he took it up after his death," Tharja stated, "So about that saliva…"

Cherche entered, seeing Gregor happily snoozing away. But the sound of her arrival caused him to wake up.
Gregor yawned, "Was good nap, Oi Cherche, what is with the forlorn face?"
"Gregor, is your name really Gregor?"
Gregor chuckled, "Did good wife found out? Well Gregor can explain."
"I don't need you to explain," Cherche admitted, "Tharja already told me the story already".
Gregor sighed, "It's true once Gregor took name as sign of failure, but now Gregor wear brother's name with pride!"
"I'm happy to hear that, but what exactly is your first name?"
"Oh that would be…"

"…Gerome" Gerome admitted, "My mother told me I was named after father's original name, so Gregor's true name is Gerome".
Noire blinked, "So…does that make you Gregor Jr.?"

Just a small one-shot as practice. My headcanon regarding Gregor is that if he has a son, his original name was the name of his son. I picked Gerome's name because it was fairly similar to Gregor. Feedback please.
