Some Women

Disclaimer: Oh, you know. Not mine.

"Danger is a turn-on for women, right?" Post-ep for Dead Reckoning. Silly TIVA.

Tony slid onto the bar stool beside Ziva. She sucked up some sort of tequila-smelling concoction through a straw without turning to him.

"So, how are you feeling about killing those men?" he asked, as diplomatically as he could think to.

"They would have killed us," she answered shortly, turning to him.

Tony held up his hands in defense. "I'm not saying you were wrong—it was pretty awesome."

"Thank you."

"But are you feeling okay?"

She sighed. Death just wasn't as familiar to American law enforcement professionals as it was to Israeli ones. "I do not feel happy they are dead. But I do not feel guilty, either."

"That's fair." Tony frowned. "I guess." He signaled the bartender and ordered a drink.

Ziva took a sip of hers, then turned to him with a smile. "Perry, today, asked me if danger was a turn-on for women,"

Tony snorted. "Creep." The bartender slid him his beer.

"It's fair, I was encouraging him."

He looked at her wonderingly. "Why?"

She shrugged. "Entertainment."

"What did you say?"

"Some women." She gave him one of her expressions where he wasn't sure if she was flirting or putting him on.

"Really?" Just as coy.

"Yes." The façade broke and her face was completely serious.

"Yes?" Now Tony was excited.

"Tony." Still serious.

"Oh! Well, let's go then." He slapped a bill down on the counter and tilted his beer down his throat.

Later, laying in bed, her head resting on his chest, Ziva teased, "So, is danger a turn-on for men?"

Tony laughed, sending vibrations through her. "Everything is a turn-on for men. Especially hot women. But I've gotta say, hot women in danger—well, there's a lot of adrenaline, at least."

"You were worried about me?" She lifted her head to look at him, a little surprised, a little pleased, a little annoyed.

"You think I only came home with you to service your needs?"

"Well," she paused to savor the taunt, "McGee implied a few weeks ago that you might have needs of your own."

"Hey!"

A/N I'm new at rating these; did this not warrant T? I wasn't sure. Hope you laughed!
