Disclaimer thing-a-ma-bob:

Hetalia and it's smexy ass characters don't belong to me. I wish they did, but they don't.

However, Bai Lan Wang does belong to me. Don't use her or her name without permission please. Or I swear I will tell Belarus you like Russia and unleash her on you.

Bai Lan Wang mashed the power button on her laptop and waited for it to boot up.

"Two more weeks, Lan. Just two more weeks until you can get that new laptop you've been saving for," she muttered to herself.
As soon as it loaded, Lan brought up her homepage and got to work. When she wasn't attending her college classes, Lan ran her own website, Paper Wishes. It was a website that gave love advice, in addition to providing a dating service for the other students at the college. In short, Paper Wishes was a match-making website, and Lan was the match-maker.

She clicked on the first new message in her inbox. One student was having problems expressing his love to his girlfriend, claiming she repeatedly got mad at him and beat him with a frying pan. Lan sighed and replied to his message.

Mr. Awesome-
I have been aware of your situation for a while now. First, I would suggest spending more time with your girlfriend, and less time with your infamous friends. You should try saying what you really feel, instead of insulting her. I'm not saying you should change who you are, but I will say that girls prefer guys who are goofy and nice, as opposed to immature and rude. If you are having trouble expressing your feelings, try writing out what you want to say first. No one is going to judge you for being honest. Your wish has been granted, but it's up to you to make it a reality.

Lan signed the response with a flourish. "Good luck," she thought.

Lan opened the next message. It was the same "become one?" message she had been getting for the past three weeks. She deleted it immediately.

Another message dealt with an idiotic, homosexual drunkard. The letter was from a friend of hers, and she smiled. Since her friend was usually emotionless, she felt honored to know what was on his mind. Lan answered it and moved on.

Eventually, she got to the last message. It was a match-making request.

"Oh! I haven't had one of these in a while!"

Lan wrote back, saying that she would be interested in meeting up for an interview. She explained that it was her policy to sit down and get to know her match-making clients one on one before setting them up with another person. She also kept a record of the conversations to use as a reference later when she did the actual matching. Lan put on her (fake) glasses and went to the cafe to wait for her latest customer.

"'Funny-red-sheets', huh? I can't wait to meet him!"

Meanwhile, a young man read Lan's response. "I really hope this will work," he said to no one in particular. He grabbed his jacket and headed towards the meeting place.

Just for fun, here's a couple challenges for you.

Not-really-a-challenge challenge:
Who are the first 3 customers? Each one is a bit harder than the previous.

A more challenging challenge:
Who is the fourth customer? (Hint: what song reference did I make?)
