Camcazi slipped on her black jumpsuit under her pink dress, rolling the sleeves up so it was covered by the humiliating dress. Today the Kingdom of Bog was meeting all the other kingdoms in the Archipelago of the Castles. She didn't want to go. She would have to associate herself with boys. Ew. When her mother did that, he left her and Camicazi and was never seen again. She ran a brush lightly through her curly hair, hardly bothering with it, as it was never truly tamed. Her sparkling blue eyes twinkled from beneath her slight bangs.
"CAMICAZI!" bellowed Queen Bertha, Camicazi's mother. "We're leaving NOW!"
Camicazi groaned and jogged down the stairs before finally standing, arms crossed, in front of her mother, who cupped her hands on her daughter's chin.
"Are you wearing boots with that dress? I'm trying to make a good impression on the Hooligans, Camicazi." she reminded, staring at her daughter's feet hopelessly.
"I know." Camicazi insisted. "I know. Please, just let me wear these boots?"
Bertha sighed. "Fine." Camicazi had a silent party, relieved that she didn't have to wear uncomfortable heels. You can't even HIKE in heels. The bodyguards put Bertha and Camicazi's bags in the boat as they hopped on merrily, Camicazi wielding a small dagger, which would probably entertain her for hours. She just loved weapons. They were so fascinating, the way they destroyed some things and saved others. The way that they were built even entertained her. They were so shiny and beautiful. She hoped there was someone there who she could at least talk about that too. But her town was notorious for their silent trades, so she probably wouldn't be able to relate to the loud towns there who got to see weapons in action every day, and thought that they were perfectly normal. But Camicazi could spy. That was one thing that she was particularly good at. Maybe she could watch the soldiers practice. That would be fun. Well, at least she had something to look forward to.
