North's Totally Terrible Christmas

By Lightning Frost

Today was Christmas Eve and all through the house, no one was stirring, not even a mouse. North had been preparing for this night all year. This was his purpose, to bring wonder to the children of the world. Little did he know that this would be the worst Christmas yet. A certain Jack Frost had a plan, a mischievous plan, he'd been formulating and formulating since he was dead.

North filled up his sleigh and made the reindeer go. Underneath his sleigh mischief was, lying on the skids. Jack laughed to himself knowing this would be revenge. For all those Christmas' that he received coal. North was nearing the house when Jack moved from under the sleigh and asked the wind to delay North a bit. Jack flew down to the houses with super glue in his hand. He went through the chimney's and started his plan.

North noticed the reindeer fighting the wind that so heavily blew. He'd talk to Jack about that when he was through. He parked the sleigh on a roof and went through the chimney. Straight to the stocking he went. When he tried putting the child's gift in, it wouldn't open. He tried pulling harder but the stocking was sealed and closed. He tried the next one and too it wouldn't budge. North stroked his beard and wondered if this was a joke.

Jack flew through the houses super glue in hand. Sealing stocking closed to confuse North with his plan. North was surely stumped by now Jack told himself. Once they all were glued he hid at the sleigh. North was still in the house probably still working away.

North was lucky a label machine was nearby. He labeled the toys for every child and left a note saying that he owed label making things that will be brought in a while. Jack was hiding laughter but finally he slipped. North found him laughing on the landing skids.

"Jack Frost, what are doing? Are you the reason Christmas was not hurried?" North asked picking him by the scruff and setting him in the sleigh a little too rough.

"You gave me coal all these years, so I finally got you back ha ha this year. Don't worry North I guarantee, the stocking's will be fine next year you'll see." Jack smiling knowing he was caught. North was a little distraught.

"Jack Frost, you made me late this year. Why didn't you say you didn't want coal? That's what making a list is for you know. Now you must go back and open the stocking, placing every gift in their appropriate pocket." North demanded in his Russian tone. Jack sighed and started heading back to fix what was never his own.

It was Christmas Eve and all through the house, Jack Frost was grumbling and muttering about his plan, how hard it was to get super glue not to stick. His really wished that he didn't do that this year, it wasn't worth it now that he was here.
