Captain America Civil War

Deleted End Credit Scene

Ext. Wakanda-Night

T'Challa is on his knees, undergoing a Wakandan tradition in which a king passes the torch to his son, or the prince. There are people playing the drums on his right and left side and while this is happening, his uncle gives a speech.

T'Challa's Uncle:

Everyone on this Earth will reach a time when they will ascend to the heavens, and that time has come too soon for our former king, T'Chaka, but we must move forward which is why T'Challa will now take upon the role of king and ruler of Wakanda.

Everyone cheers with T'Challa standing up and his uncle comes up to him and puts his hand on his shoulder.

T'Challa's Uncle:

Your father would be proud.

T'Challa's uncle then snaps his fingers and two servants walk up to T'Challa and hold up a plate, holding a heart shaped herb. T'Challa eats the herb and his body is covered with a blue aura, with his eyes glowing and the figure of a black panther appearing over T'Challa's head.

T'Challa's Uncle:

It is done. People of Wakanda, your new king, T'Challa.

T'Challa's uncle grabs T'Challa's hand and lifts it up to which everyone cheers. T'Challa then hears his father's voice in his head.

T'Chaka

Well done son. You will be a great king.

T'Challa is very confused by this.

T'Challa

Father?

T'Challa's Uncle

What is it my king?

T'Challa

What?... Nothing, everything's just fine.

The scene ends with an overshot of everyone cheering.
