I do not own WWE nor its wrestlers; however I do own my OC, Quinn. Let me know what you think about my story in a review or favorite my story. Right now I don't have a pairing for this story however if you have an idea let me know.
As a small child I learned the worst parts of humanity. To me, having parents who didn't give a shit about you was inconvenient but normal. Walking to school in a ratty old pair of faded blue converse was normal; even the feeling of toes going numb due to the snow soaking through my shoes was normal. Getting bruises from flying beer-bottles and headaches from screaming matches was normal. The only reason I can even acknowledge the good in humanity is because of my brother.
My brother put me on his back when I was too weak to walk and gave me his food when I got too skinny. My brother patched up the wounds from our parents. He was my only family. But then he found something he loved to do, wrestling, and he got the opportunity of a life time to wrestle professionally. I didn't hold it against him when he left. Instead I threw myself into my studies; staying away from home as long as possible. I got a scholarship and just like him I didn't look back. I had just gotten my degree in political science when I heard.
My family got destroyed and I couldn't help my brother. He went off the deep end and I watched as he ceased to care about living. He is my only family and he is hurting and I couldn't do anything. Until I could.
Wrestling was never my forte but who can turn down a job offer?
The hotel slept under the cover of darkness as night worked her magic on its inhabitants. Everything as silent except for the quiet thump… thump… thump that echoed through the lobby from the gym on the south end. Light leaked out from the crack of the closed down of the gym. The thump… thump grew louder as the young woman at the punching bag swung her fists harder against the sand-filled canvas punching bag hanging in the far corner. Sweat dripped down her face as she moved faster before she suddenly stopped; resting her arms lightly on the bag as she caught her breathe. She breathed deeply, closing her eyes as she tried to silence the voices that begged for her attention.
She got off the nag before walking over to a bench and sitting down to unwrap her hands. She was almost done when she noticed someone standing by the door.
"Yah can sit down Mr. McMahon I don't bite hard." Mr. McMahon chuckled before moving to sit beside her.
"I thought I told you to call me Shane, Quinn." She raised an eyebrow at him.
"I heard you, doesn't mean I'm going to listen. You should know that by now."
"That I should." Shane said looking down at his feet.
"Dollar for your thoughts?" he starred at her.
"I think you butchered that quote a little bit." Quinn chuckled.
"I know how it should go; but I figured since you're 'all about the money' it might seem a little insulting." She smirked before kneeling by her gym bag to get her water bottle.
"Good one, however, I do have something I need to talk to you about."
"Tell me straight or don't tell me at all Shane." She looked at him suspiciously.
"Stephanie found your training videos in my desk while she was snooping around. She's willing to let Smackdown draft Ambrose and the title as long as she gets you."
Quinn turned her back on him and began stretching her shoulders.
"She wants to recruit me outside the draft, correct?"
"Yes."
Quinn turned to face Shane again with a smile on her face.
"I fail to see the problem; everything is going according to the plan." Shane leaned back and watched her sit down to stretch her legs.
"I know how much you like being in the fold so I thought I'd tell you what was happening."
"I appreciate it but next time you don't have to act like your sister killed your puppy, it makes people worry."
Shane chuckled and left, leaving Quinn to her thoughts once again. She reached into her wallet and took out a worn picture of her brother. She wiped her thumb gently across it before putting it away again. She stood up to grab her gym bag and left, leaving the gym in the throes of night once again.
