Fullmetal Heart: La Seine Lorax version
Ted looked out on the stage. The crowd was waiting for him. The owner of the "Metallic Hearts" club was Jojo Once-ler. The man had a son named Hiroki Once-ler who would be performing with him. Jojo stepped on the stage. "Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Hiroki Once-ler and Theodore Wiggins with their song, la Seine," he announced to the audience. They applauded when he appeared. A guitar began to play. Ted turned his head to see Hiroki playing it. Hiroki was wearing a black dress-suit and a gray fedora. The older boy had radiant black hair, soft white skin, and beautiful blood-red eyes. Ted then began to sing.
He's resplendent, so confident
La Seine, La Seine, La Seine
I realized I'm hypnotized
La Seine, La Seine, la Seine
I hear the moon singing a tune
La Seine, La Seine, La Seine
Is he divine? Is it the wine?
La Seine, La Seine, La Seine
Hiroki joins in, making a harmonic duet. Ted is hypnotized by the boy's voice.
I don't know, don't know, so don't ask me why
That's how we are, La Seine and I
I don't know, don't know, so don't ask me why
That's how we are, La Seine and I
Hiroki broke the duet, now singing his solo. His voice was hypnotizing yet beautiful to the ears.
I feel alive when I'm beside
La Seine, La Seine, La Seine
From the angle like an angel
La Seine, La Seine, La Seine
Ted joins in again, their voices in perfect harmony.
I don't know, don't know, so don't ask me why
That's how we are, La Seine and I
I don't know, don't know, so don't ask me why
That's how we are, La Seine and I
Upon a bridge
(My heart does beat)
Between the waves
(We will be saved)
The air we breathe
(Can you believe?)
Learn to forgive upon the bridge
That's how we are, La Seine and I
That's how we are, La Seine and I
That's how we are, La Seine and I
That's how we are, La Seine and I
As soon as the last note leave the guitar, the audience stands up and applauds the two singers. Ted kisses Hiroki's cheek, knowing everything is right with the world.
Hiroki Once-ler belongs to me. Everything belongs to their respectable owners.
