Annabeth never thought she would fall for Percy Jackson. Then again, as she reminisces, there are several things she couldn't have foreseen. Oneshot Percabeth-and not a tragedy, for once!

I never thought I would FALL for you, my hero, my only.

I never thought I would WANT for you, when I am sad and lonely.

I never thought I would CRY for you, when you've left me behind.

I never thought I would SEEK for you, yet you're consuming my mind.

I never thought I would FIGHT for you, here at the final stand.

I never thought I would DIE for you, now at the very end.

I never thought I would LOVE for you, my heart beating crazy and fast.

I never thought I would LOSE for you, fighting the hope of my past.

I never thought I would SCREAM for you, when all else fails and fights are lost.

I never thought I would CALL to you, when friends are gone and hearts are frost.

I never thought I would FIND someone like you, someone I want by my side.

I never thought I would HOPE for you, hope you choose what is right.

I never saw any of this, after all. I never saw that it would be all for you. But then, who can see the future?

Never me.
