I wanted to try a one-shot and I just thought of this, It's very sad so break out the tissuse. it's very short and there is character death.

disclaimer: I don't own Nintendo, I own my mind.

Her hooves beat against the hard earth, she was running away, but away from what? She was a horse so she could be running away from her master. But no, her master was a good young man.

So why's she running.

Have you figured it out yet?

She was running from the sadness, from his home, his smell, his memory.

So she ran across the field.

Normally he would be on her back, laughing.

His hat would blow off and he'd bring her to a gentle stop.

He'd go running after his hat, and when he got it, he would pat her nose and give her a carrot.

He'd hop back on and smile.

he'd lightly kick her sides and they would be off again.

They would be free again.

That Bulblin had gotten a lucky shot.

Her master was on of the best swords men in all of Hyrule. But he was off his game.

He had been a few days before.

It was her. That imp had left and he was sad.

He just wasn't paying attention.

Her master had hardly spoken since the imp left.

She tried to warn him, but she was a horse, she couldn't tell him to move.

She couldn't stop the arrow.

She couldn't stop the blood.

All she could do was run back to the village.

But she was to late.

He was gone.

The arrow had grazed her.

She had bled on him and stained his tunic.

And his blood had stained her copper fur.

So, maybe he was still a part of her.

He was still in that saddle.

He was still there.

He was still smiling.

He was still her master.

So she ran away.

To where?

To her master.

After all, they were bound by blood.

*Sniff* Ok, short and sad. And incase you didn't notice, Link's dead and this is Epona's POV. Let me know if it was bad, or good. I can't belive how short this came out... XP
