Author's Note: Wow! It's been awhile since have logged into my fanfiction. I have gotten ALL of you guys messages and I really appreciate the encouragement from all of you to continue writing. When I first started writing stories I was young and in high school with little knowledge of what it takes to be a COMMITTED writer which I know I haven't been doing. But the point of growing up is that you are exposed to different things and hobbies.

Now, looking back at my stories they are poorly writing and have grown to have OC with my writing (I am now a college student). So I would be REVISING, EDITING, and maybe CHANGING things around to make it better.. For any new readers! - Elis

It was night time and Rachel Jenson walked down an almost empty street on her way to the club that belong to her boyfriend Jake Attica. She hadn't noticed that she was being stalked by a man with a black hoodie who was waiting for the right chance to attack Rachel. The scoundrel hadn't noticed the he was also being watched by a 17 year girl laying down on the neighborhood park's bench. She knew he was praying on the unaware woman who walked happily down the street using her smartphone, probably scrolling through her Facebook.

The scoundrel went inside his pocket and pulled something out. The girl got up and swiftly and stealthy walked across the street hiding in-between cars so she wouldn't be noticed. She got a better look an noticed that the scoundrel had a hunting knife and was getting closer to making his move since there was an alleyway up a head which was the perfect place to take advantage of the helpless woman.

Fuck, the young girl thought. She bit her bottom lip as she contemplated on making a move or not. The scream that quickly broke her train of thought made her mind up as she quickly dashed down the street just at the woman was being dragged into the alley with the hunting knife dangerously pressed on her neck.

"HEY!" She yelled as she finally reached the alley.

The scoundrel looked over to the girl's direction while having Rachel pressed on to the alley's wall the knife still pressed on her neck.

The man smirked, "You better run away I don't want to hurt you, little girl."

"Why don't you come over here and will see who hurts who," the girl said smirking as she walked casually towards the man.

"What bitch," he growled. He pushed Rachel to the floor and raised his arm with the knife to attack the young girl.

The man threw jabs with the knife but the young girl swayed side to side dogging all of them. She giggled because he moved too slow for her. He was starting to lose his patience and growled as he tried to rush into her but she kneed him right in the groin then went in her pocket and pulled out brass knuckles which she used to knock him out.

The young girl walked towards the frighten Rachel who looked at the girl in astonishment. "Where did you learned to fight like that?" Rachel asked the young girl as she helped her to her feet.

"I used to take lessons," the young girl said nonchalantly. "You should really be more careful lady. The asshole was praying on you for three blocks-"

"What is your name?"

The girl frown at the beaming Rachel who was still too impressed and now interested in her.

"Alyssa. Mendez."

"Alyssa. You have saved my life tonight. How can I ever repay you?"

"Just say thanks." Alyssa said rolling her eyes and turning away. She can tell that Rachel was one of them high maintenance rich girls by the way her manicured nails looked and her expensive clothes and jewelry. She could also tell that Rachel was a bubbly all positive vibe type of girl but right now she wasn't in the mood because thanks to her she hasn't gotten any sleep.

Rachel examined the girl, and she remembered seeing her before...in the streets, sleeping in park benches.

"Do you want to come home with me?"

Alyssa stop mid on her track.

"A girl shouldn't be alone in the streets. You can at least come to my place and take a shower get some clean clothes. My boyfriend and I can see if we can help you in someway-"

"Lady, you had me a shower."

Rachel smiled, "I'm Rachel by the way."

…...

Rachel parked her Audi in front of a very modern looking house that had more glass as walls than regular walls. It was a 2 story house with a very lovely front garden and a cobble walkway that lead to the main entrance. Rachel smiled at Alyssa's reaction to everything. She made her way to the kitchen while Alyssa followed close behind.

"Are you hungry?" Rachel said watching the girl take a seat on one of the stools of the kitchen island.

"Famished."

"We have some leftover chicken alfredo from last night-"

"Sold." Alyssa said laughing a bit. She learned from being homeless that you gots to be grateful for every little thing and she surely wasn't going to get picky on Rachel. After they both ate some of the chicken alfredo she took Alyssa to the bathroom so she could take a shower. She placed neatly folded clothes on the toilet; a pink t-shirt and black leggings. Once dressed Alyssa walked back into the Rachel's bedroom her hair dripping wet from the shower. Rachel could see more of the girls features and she was amazed by how much of a beauty she was. Her lips were full, olive skin, hazel eyes, and long chocolate hair. She was skinny but she was still pretty. Rachel had Alyssa sit on her vanity chair so she could fix her beautiful hair into a ponytail while leaving her side bangs out. Just then they heard the door opened Rachel quickly got up taking Alyssa downstair with her.

"Honey let's talk." Rachel said sitting her boyfriend down on the sofa.

Rachel explained everything to her boyfriend he kept looking between Alyssa and Rachel. He asked her tons of question about her attacker and asked her if Rachel was alright a million time. He sighed in relief and gave Rachel a tight hug follow by a kiss. He cupped her face in his hands and looked at her deeply into her eyes, "I could never forgive myself if something was to happen to you. I love you!"

Rachel kissed Jake, "I love you too, but if you really love me you'll be grateful to Alyssa and help her."

Jake's attention turned to Alyssa. For a minute he had forgotten that she was there. His glare wasn't welcoming he was suspicious of her. He knew that Rachel was very pure at heart and can be easily be taken advantage of. It was his duty to protect her pure heart.

"What's your?"

"Alyssa Mendez."

"This is my boyfriend Jake," Rachel introduced happily. "And that's his little brother Jesse." She pointed to the teenager that walked in thru the doors. Talk about perfect timing.

"Wassup?" he said walking up to them, jumping over the sofa and sat next to Jake. They explained everything to Jesse who's smile got wider when he heard the fighting part.

"Your amazing babygirl, and your very cute we just to get some meat on those bones," he said laughing.

"Thank you for the complement Jesse," Alyssa said kinda feeling at home but not sure if it was okay for her to feel that way already. Jake narrowed his eyes at Alyssa. She seemed harmless and he felt liked he owe her for saving the love of his life.

"How old are you?" Jake said.

"17."

"So you need to be put in school right away," Jake said with a "no bullshit" tone.

"Okay you can stay here but it's temporary. Till when I feel like we have repay you enough" he said standing up.

"Welcome to the family," he said smiling and pulled her into a hug.

Author's Note: So nobody was going to tell me that "Lily" was really Rachel Jenson. Idk how I got the names confused but here I am fixing the chapters one by one.
