Damn plot bunnies! This came to me after rewatching Revelations for oh the 100th time lol.

"Shoot him! Shoot him!"

A gunshot was fired. Reid yelled when it penetrated his chest, right near the heart.

"Please," he begged, blood spilling from his chest. "Please." He raised his hands helplessly. Tobias, now as Charles, raised the gun again and fired, this time hitting his side. He yelled again, pain radiating through his body.

And suddenly he heard rustles of the bushes as Tobias left him to die.

He laid there in the field. his face tear stained as the pain took control of his body.

He could barely breathe. He was fading, and fading fast.

"Reid!" He heard Morgan's voice from a distance. "Reid!"

He heard more footsteps coming closer.

Oh God what if it was Tobias? He started to cry in both fear and pain.

"Please, leave me alone," he begged. "Please..."

Morgan ran into the field as he saw footsteps in that direction. He stared in horror as he saw Reid laying on the ground, his chest covered in blood. And so was his hands.

"Oh my God," breahted Emily who was next to him.

"Reid!" Morgan shouted.

Reid recoginzed the voice but couldnt' respond. Blood was coming from his mouth.

"M...M..."

"It's okay kid, don't speak." He felt Morgan kneel beside him.

"Emily get the paramedics over here! Now!" A sense of urgency was in his voice. Reid listened to the footsteps fading away. "Reid? You're going to be okay."

But honestly Morgan was scared to death. So much blood, and all of it was Reid's. He was shot twice, he could tell. They had to get him to the hospital right away.

"Reid? It's going to be okay...everything's going to be okay." He tried to apply pressure to the wound.

"Morgan," he gasped.

"Take it easy kid."

"J...J..."

"She's fine," Morgan reassured him.

Reid nodded and when he coughed he coughed up blood. Finally Emily was rushing over with Gideon and Hotch and the paramedics.

"Reid," Gideon said quickly as he knelt beside the kid.

Hotch and Morgan looked at each other.

There sure was a lot of blood. The paramedics lifted Reid to a stretcher. Emily put her hand to her mouth.

"T...obias..."Gasped Reid.

"Don't talk, Reid," Hotch quickly said and Gideon squeezed Reid's hand.

"He's right, save your energy.

Reid swallowed some blood and nodded as a mask went over his mouth.

They raced towards the ambulence praying that they got there in time, that they weren't too late.
