Chapter 1: The Beginning of Something New
POV Al
It was finally happening; I was getting my body back. We just recently obtained it, the Philosophers Stone, from a dying Homunculus. As it so happens, Gluttony ate too much and imploded, just leaving the stone behind. He was the only one left after the war between the humans and the Homunculi. He was pretty easy to track; all we had to do was follow the missing people from town to town. And once we found him, he already had his fill.
With the stone in our possession, we headed to our home town and into Winry's basement to start drawing the transmutation circle. This alchemy was just to challenging to do with just the clap of Ed's hands. After two long and almost endless days, it was ready.
Turning to me Ed says, "You ready Al?"
"Hmm…"
I stand up and walk towards the middle of the transmutation circle, nodding my head as I turn towards Ed. He draws the final few lines then looks over his handiwork and smiles.
"Okay, let's do this Al."
Ed claps his hand together and then presses them down onto the circle.
The last thing I saw was Ed's smiling face.
