My Hatred is Love

(A poem from Kikyou's point of view from right after she came back)

I do not own Inuyasha or Kikyou

You stared at me with loving eyes

Like you'd never left me behind,

But I hate your loving stare,

And in return, I throw a glare.

Then there's puzzlement in your eyes,

Your eyes reflecting all the skies.

For all your love I returned hate,

For you'd just used my love as bait.

Now in my death I need revenge

Though with love this hatred's tinged.

I must throw all this love aside

If I am to end your life.

And you stared at me with loving eyes,

Like you'd never leave me behind.

Into your golden eyes I gaze,

And flashing back I see the days

Of when, in life, I loved you so,

And then again I watched you go.

Again I saw you strike me down,

And when I'd fallen to the ground,

You took off with the evil jewel.

Am I now to forgive you?

My love for you is coming back,

But with this love I must attack,

For my love is still like bait

The more I love, the more I hate

End
