" It sure is *cough cough* dusty up here, Yu-*hack cough*-gi." Atem commented, sitting down on a dusty trunk with his mouth buried in his elbow. " Sorry, Atem. But I haven't been up in the attic for ages." Yugi said, rummaging through a box. " Ah-hah! Here it is!" " What is it, Yugi?" " An old horror movie! I'm gonna invite everyone over and we can laugh at how lame this is!" Yugi chuckled.
A knock came from the door. Yugi finished putting the popcorn in a bowl and went to the door. He opened the door to reveal Joey, Tea, Kiaba, Mokuba, Rebecca, Triston, Duke, Bakura and Serenity. " Hey, guys! Come on in! Prepare for a night of novelty and comedy!" As they walked in, Serenity said timidly, " I don't really like horror movies." Yugi flicked off the lights and sat on the couch, where Rebecca plunked herself down. " Don't worry! These are mega old! You'll laugh more than anything!" Yugi said, chuckling. " May the show begin!"
It was anything but funny. Yugi hid behind a pillow, afraid but unable to tear his eyes away from the nightmare. Mokuba's shoes peeked out from beneath the couch, the only thing revealing where he had dived for cover. Joey had long since run up to Yugi's room to hide under the covers. Triston held a baseball bat, crouched in front of the door with Duke hiding behind him, his eyes covered. Tea and Serenity were locked in the closet, armed with a broom and mop. Rebecca had climbed screaming out the window an hour ago, and was still hanging from a tree. Kiaba had bundled himself up into his big white coat, so you could only see his huge eyes. Atem had burrowed into the cushions, and his eyes were also the only things visable. Bakura's white hair was clamped between the lid of the trash-can and it's lip where he'd hidden, a bananna peel crowning it. Weevil and Rex, who hadn't been invited and wanted to see what was going on, hid in trash cans and wailed.
The next day everyone had bags under their eyes. Triston held his bat sloppily, it's end touching his toes. The door-knob moved. Triston snapped awake, and everyone went and hid behind him (Don't ask me why. It would have been safer in their other hiding spots). The door flew open and Triston's bat flew, making a solid clunking sound on Solomon's head. They all ran screaming out of the house and down the street, the door ignored in their flight. It hung from a hinge, waving from the wind created by their escape.
An hour later, Solomon came to. He saw the broken door, the popcorn strewn everywhere, the messed up couch, and the rest of the evidence. " I thought Yugi said he wouldn't let in any wierdos!"
