I loved to sing. I loved allowing the sound of my soul and my heart fill the air and express my thoughts in the most beautiful way.

Kurt walks along the street, raises his gaze and looks up into the night sky. The stars shine as bright as they never did before. This night seems to be beautiful. His heart beats faster and faster with every step he takes, knowing that he is close to his long-awaited target.

I loved to sing. I loved how I sounded and that people liked it. I loved making them smile and warming their hearts while I shared the warmth of my own heart.

At a time when I had warmth in my heart.

Finally, he reaches the bridge and touches the parapet with a reverent relief as he passes by.

Blaine hates that he has to pass that damn bridge. He hates every bridge which spans a river. As a child, he fell from a bridge when he leaned forward to look at the ducks. He was only four years old and couldn't swim very well, so he escaped death closely and has been frightened of water and bridges ever since.

Kurt walks until he is in the middle of the bridge, the highest point. Trembling, he stares down to the cold water which bubble around the stones and he knows that he would be dead if he jumped and landed on his head on one of those.

I loved to sing.

I loved to speak.

I loved to be able to express myself at all.

Blaine takes a deep breath full of fear as he sets foot on the bridge, with his hands in his trouser pockets and his head conscripted between his shoulders as if he would try to hide himself.

Hesitantly, Kurt takes a step forward and bends over the banister bit by bit, his eyes closed and lets the tears flow out of his eyes, in remembrance of his lost life.

He doesn't know why, but something in Blaine tells him to look up. A gut instinct made him decide to raise his head just a bit, to make sure that he won't be seen. Then, he sees a boy who stands about 15 meters away, leaning over the banister and is about to ... oh my god!

I loved to feel like a person, a real human being ... who is able to speak.

He leans more forward, shivering and crying.

I really ... loved to sing.

Kurt wants to let himself be part of the stones and the water and the earth and leaves hold of the banister as he suddenly gets overwhelmed and thrown on the ground.

"My god, are you mad? Don't throw your life away," Blaine screams, looking into the boy's watery and fearful eyes.

"It won't be that bad!"

Slowly, he stands up and reaches out his hand to help the boy up. With his blue eyes, the other boy just stares at him like Blaine just killed somebody.

"Come on," Blaine says and wants to bend down to him, but the stranger pulls himself up.

The boy has to be in the same age as him but Blaine never saw him before, not even in school.

He has pure white skin, almost pale and really beautiful blue eyes.

"What's your name?"

Blaine looks at him with a friendly smile.

Kurt hates that guy who thought he could play the hero for a night.

Who does he think he is?

Kurt was so close to finally being free and now this happened. As if that wasn't enough, the stranger wants to make conversation ... awesome!

Kurt just turns around and starts to walk away, but a hand holds him back.

"Please wait, let's talk about it."

Kurt looks back to the guy and tries to wrench his hand free, but the stranger's grip is too strong.

"I just want to help you," Blaine says eagerly, as the Kurt stop to struggling against his grip.

"So what's your name?" He asks again, still holding the boy's arm. He doesn't realize that Kurt rolled his eyes, since clouds are sliding in front of the moon and it gets dark.

"Why don't you answer me? Cat got your tongue?"

Blaine didn't complete his sentence as he could feel a fist in his face.

After Kurt punched him in his face, the guy released his hold on Kurt so Kurt can run away, not looking back. He wanted to try to forget this incident.

Breathing heavily, Blaine gazed at the boy in wonder, while he holds his aching cheek.

"You're welcome," he cries after him.

He looked so pale and weak but was able to punch me that hard?

He starts to smile.

Interesting.

Blaine suddenly remembered that he was standing on a bridge so he runs in the opposite direction where the other guys went.

What was that all about? I just wanted to help ... He is so young ... and tall ... has beautiful eyes.

Damn ...

Forget it, Anderson! Put that idea right out of your mind!

He wanted to kill himself and wasn't even nice to you after you saved him.

Forget it! Forget that incident! Forget that person!

Forget ... those ... eyes.

Blaine stops walking and turns around, thinking about whether he would be able to catch up with him.

Probably not, he thinks and starts to run after him.
