NOTE: I Know that on the show, Lucy is supossed to die, but not here. I like her, and she's NOT dying! And I know when the ep ended, Mark and Corday weren't there. But I need them there for this to work! So they arrived a few minutes before Weaver found Carter and Lucy.
Part Two

"1...2...3...!" Mark called as he directed the transfer of Carter form the stretcher to a bed. Mark spared a single glance into the room next door, where other doctors and nurses were working on Lucy. *Please let them be all right,* he thought as he began to work on Carter. The man had been stabbed in the kidneys, causing some damage.

"1...2...3...!" Dr. Elizabeth Corday called as Lucy was transfered to a bed. Her injuries were even more severe than Carter's, partly because she had lain on the floor for who knows how long before Weaver found them. Lucy had multiple wounds in her chest and back, and had lost a lot of blood. The medical team began their frantic work to save her.

Four hours later Mark walked out of the ER, sighing in relief. He ahd managed to save Carter. Now if the same could be done for Lucy. Mark glanced into the room where they were still working on Lucy in time to see Elizabeth and Carol walking out.
"How's Lucy?" Mark asked.
"She should be fine. We managed to repair most of the damage. But we're transferrinf her to the ICU as soon as possible. How about Carter?" Carol responded, wondering about the young doctor.
Mark smiled. "He's all right. He had some minor damage to the kidnays, but he should be fine."
"Thank God," Carol whispered.

It was nearly two days later when Carter woke up. He was disoriented at first. The last thing he remembered was looking at Lucy under the bed. He couldn't remember anything past it. Just as he began to try to sit up, Carol walked in.
"Carter! It's good to see you awake! You've had us all worried," she said, smiling broadly as she walked to the side of his bed and checked his vitals. "How are you feeling?"
"I'm okay. What happened? The last thing I remember was being on the floor."
Carol sighed. "Dr. Weaver went in to see if she could find you, and she found you and Lucy instead."
Carter tried to sit up again. "Lucy! Is she all right?!"
Carol smiled. "Lucy's fine. She's still asleep, but she should wake up soon."
Carter nodded in relief. "Okay."
