DISCLAIMER! I do not own any of the Legend of Zelda characters… Hope you guys will like the story!

This does take place in Hyrule. There may be spoilers, so don't say I didn't warn you!

"Who are you?" I asked the strange cloaked figure that was standing in the rain.

"I am known by many names throughout the kingdom. Your parents know me and I'm pretty sure that your brother knows me too" The cloaked man answered, with a familiar tone that I couldn't quite identify.

"How did you know that I have a brother? And how do you know my parents?"

"I know them very well my dear child, more than you can remember."

That was all he said then he disappeared into the night.

It was a cold stormy night at the castle and within the castle walls, you hear a small girl's scream shriek down the halls awaken those who slept in the castle.

"MOMMY!" screamed the little girl. Her parents come rushing in to see what the matter was.

"What is it my Emalyn?" the mother asked. The little girl's father comes running in and holds his daughter close, trying to get her to calm down.

"It was the storm... I'm scared of the thunder, it sounds like something evil is trying to get me…" the girl trailed off, her mother's face seemed to go pale as she looked out the window of her children's room. Emalyn's twin brother, Kyrian came to sit on his sister's bed.

"Emalyn, was it the storm dream again?" asked Kyrian

"Yes, it was, and I felt as if I couldn't breathe, like the darkness wanted to choke me... and the storm doesn't make it any better… Kyrian, can I sleep in your bed with you for the rest of the night?" Emalyn asked

"Of course you can Emalyn, I will protect you the best I can from your nightmares."

After the twins fell asleep, the mother and father closed the door quietly and walked back towards their bedroom.

"Link, what if Emalyn's dreams could be visions?" Emalyn's mother, Zelda asked with the look of concern in her tone.

"I'm pretty sure that they are just nightmares, and besides, you heard what Kyrian said, he will protect her from her nightmares the best he can. So don't worry, just go and get some rest, I will have Impa check in on them periodically." Link said reassuringly.

"Ok, well I should get some rest; we have a lot of planning to do for the ceremony tomorrow. See you in the morning my love." Zelda said, as she went into the room and went to sleep, even with so much going on in her head, she drifted off into a deep sleep.
