Jenny walked slowly down the street, her feet dragging over each block of pavement. Her bag swung low and her head followed suit. She couldn't stop thinking about him. She'd left Eric at the Ostroff Treatment Center about 45 minutes ago, but it'd taken her longer than usual to walk home. She had a lot weighing her down, literally. She still had her school bag, a bag which had a change of clothes and accessories, three bags from shopping for Blair earlier today, and her own personal favorite, a bag which had a present from Eric in it. She hadn't opened it yet, he'd told her to wait until she got home.
Jenny had spent the whole evening with Eric. His mum and his sister weren't scheduled in to visit him at all that night, but neither was Jenny. She'd snuck in through his window when she'd finished shopping, and didn't leave until 11pm. She wasn't due back home until midnight though, so she was still on time. She continued walking until she'd reached the end of the street and turned, already at her doorstop. Before walking up to the door, she pulled out the box from Eric and looked inside. She smiled, slowly closing the box and putting it back in the bag.
