Hi! I had this idea and I just had to write it down!
And thank you once again to GingerGeek for taking her time to betaread this.
Check out her stories, they're really good!
Disclaimer: I don't own YJ and this is definetly not the first Mommy cats! Story so, I don't own Mommy cats either.
The fight was pretty bad.
Everyone was tied up, having been defeated by the villain.
Kaldur, who had received a nasty blow to the head, was unconscious. Superboy had been subdued by some kryptonite that was laying near him. The ropes holding Wally and M'gann canceled out their powers, and Artemis' arrows were thrown to the side.
The only one still fighting was Robin, flipping gracefully and almost flying like his namesake.
Then, the villain, who had been waving a knife and a metal bat around, (don't ask) got a lucky shot.
The bat crashed into Robin's head, making a sickening crack. The bird cried out and fell to the ground.
The cruel villain sneered at him and raised his metal bat to strike again.
"Bye bye birdy," he smirked as he started to swing the bat down again.
Bam!
A woman had collided into him, punching him in the face.
"Step away from the bird," Catwoman hissed, her face showing clear rage.
"Or what?" the villain sneered like a little kid, recovering from his shock.
"Or this!" she growled and the fight began.
It lasted around one minute, and the winner was not the villain.
Catwoman smirked at the man laying on the ground, kicking him one more time before kneeling down next to Robin.
"Kitten!" she exclaimed, trying to keep her voice calm. She cradled his head in her lap.
No response.
She knelt down and picked him up gently, tears threatening to stream down her face.
She glared accusingly at the team.
They were struggling in their bonds, except Wally, who looked down, ashamed.
"No!" M'gann cried out, "Let him go!"
"It's alright, guys, she's Robin's mommy," Wally mumbled.
"What?!"
"Yes I am," Catwoman said coolly. She quickly untied the rest of the team, kicking the kryptonite away from Superboy. She was about to leave when Artemis strapped in front of her.
"Wait! Where are you going with him!"
"He's safe relax, he's coming with me." She said, her glare (surprisingly) rivaling Batman's.
She then took out her cellphone and dialed a number she knew well.
"Selina?"
"Hi Bruce, I came by and Robin and his team were all injured."
"Is he alright?"
"He'll be fine, Bruce, I'm taking him to my apartment to fix him up. These kids probably need medical attention." She looked over at the five teens standing in front of her. M'gann had a long gash running down her left leg, and Kaldur was now alert, but wincing and rubbing his head. Artemis was cradling her wrist, and Wally had multiple gashes in his uniform, showing bruised ribs. Superboy was fine, but a little ticked.
Bruce sighed on the other end of the phone. "Maybe Robin shouldn-"
"No. He's coming with me," Catwoman interrupted.
"Fine." Batman said, knowing that he had a better chance of becoming the world's happiest hero than winning this argument.
Catwoman raced off into the night, a little bird in tow.
Everyone just stared.
"That, my friends, was Mommy Cats."
"…."
"OW!"
"Just shut up, Baywatch."
