Authors Notes: Hey I'm back if you read chapter 5 of The Eyes Of God then you know that I have abandoned it for reasons that are explained there. But this time The Guardian will not be abandoned as I have been planning this for months and have recently finished it. It will have weekly updates and if I don't update it then it is most likely school that is taking my attention. Like I said on that last chapter in The Eyes Of God I have a channel it is called Lack Of Reason and I will post Fanfiction reading of my choice and updates on chapters the day or hours before I upload them. I'm very excited for this Fanfiction and I hope you are too after you read this first Chapter. That is enough rambling for now, I thank you for giving me another chance or for deciding to give me a chance to wow you if this your first time with a Fanfiction of mine.

And Now For The First Chapter Of The Guardian!

There was fire everywhere. Flames were consuming the entire area. He could hear the painful screams of those who could not escape the danger. Deafening explosions rocked the ground as the houses blew up killing some families with debris. He could see a mother and her child running away only for them to be gunned down. His vision got blurry but he knew the monsters wore some type of armor, he crawled towards a piece of debris so he could fight the monsters off enough to let some people survive but his attention was taken as a group of those beasts pointed their guns towards him and shot.

"Ahhhhhhh!" He screamed as he suddenly woke from his nightmare in panic. He was panting heavily as well as sweating a lot. 'It felt so real... for a moment I thought I was back there again.' The person who woke up had long straight hair that was white in color, bright red eyes that seemed to glow in the darkness at night and pale white skin. He was quite tall 6 feet tall at least with a body that showed some muscle even while relaxed giving away that the teen had some training. As for his clothes there wasn't much to mention just a simple black cloak, dark sleeveless shirt, black pants and no shoes or socks.

"It looks like I won't be sleeping tonight. I guess I'll just keep traveling, hopefully the village nearby has some jobs for me to do." As the teen observed the beautiful forest, he hoped there wouldn't be anymore bandits camps as he proceeded through the trees. 'Bandits I helped them because I could tell they were truthful when they explained that they meant no harm. However I'm sure that there are actual bandits who enjoy the pain of others. The Kingdoms have started hunting them down.' As he walked he noticed that there were less wildlife around meaning bandits must lurk closely or have been here. Jaune only knew there was a village nearby because of his experience with how far apart villages were from one another. Villages traded with one another since sometimes they found some rare valuables travelers would not find and merchants certainly help advertise villages to one another or to other merchants and huntsman or huntresses.

Jaune had finally arrived at a pathway by day time and walked on it for an hour in silence. 'Hmm it is strangely unoccupied especially by signs, these paths usually have signs every 10 to 15 meters telling people where you are currently heading. And there are no tracks here feet or wheels, now that is-' And suddenly Jaune's attention was pulled to a fight that he was hearing to the right of the road. 'It sounds like it is physical. I guess I'll just quickly check on it and see if they need help, its probably bandits attacking some student huntsman team.' Jaune then heard an explosion with the ground rumbling a bit making him take the situation a little more seriously. As Jaune rushes towards the smoke he runs into an empty clearing with only a medium sized crater that had no more smoke coming from it.

*WHOOOOSH*

Was the sound Jaune heard as he dodged something that was thrown at him. 'What the hell-' but Jaune could not complete that thought as he had to hop back and and flip over a rain of arrows coming from around the trees surrounding the clearing. 'An ambush? and there are so many of them coming after just me. I know I never let an enemy escape alive so there is no way they know how dangerous I'am, what is going on?' As Jaune was pondering this he heard an arrogant voice speak loudly.

"Oooh you have got some nice reflexes and flexibility. Heh you have definitely trained or have been trained very good, but it won't be enough for the full might of the Jackals Bandit Tribe." The speaker in question was a tall and buffed up women who had short brown hair, green eyes, and tanned skin. She was also garbed in what looked like rags, she almost resembled a Barbarian. The women's stance held an air of strength and confidence that combined make for a intimidating enemy, but for Jaune she was just a soon to be corpse.

"A bandit tribe... no doubt you are going to all fight me since none of you are honorable enough to fight one on one."

"Shut Up! Honor means nothing out in the wild! Out here the weak will suffer and the strong will thrive! That is the way of Mother Nature and we humans are the strongest so we shall rule! Remnant belongs to the strongest of races!"

"Shut your mouth Scum! Don't talk as if you know about Nature! You know nothing of the pain you put it through! You aren't even worthy of living on Remnant! You only deserve the most BLOODY AND VIOLENT OF DEATHS! RAHHHHH!"

For the bandits, what was supposed to be an easy kill and some easy money was now a fight to the death. Even their leader looked to be effected by the teens sudden rush of power, they now knew that they couldn't escape so they had to kill the teen, now they weren't sure of their fate. Jaune's Aura was visibly pulsing and flowing through his body as his power was washing over everyone.

One moment he was standing in the middle of the clearing, then in the next the leader was punched in the gut then lifted over the Jaune's shoulder and slammed into the ground where the teen finished the women with a stomp to the face exploding her head spraying blood over his pants. This caused some bandits to try to run but Jaune appeared between the two and punched his fists through their chests with their hearts in his hands, the other bandits watched as the hands crushed the hearts of the two.

The bandits got into fighting stances but could not fall into formation as they were too frightened to do so, then Jaune's face twisted into one of intense hatred with his eyes glowing bright red. A barrage of arrows came towards Jaune one after another but the teen simply grabbed every one of them and ran at the remaining ground bandits making them freeze up for a second before reacting. One swung at Jaune but he dodged it and jammed an arrow into his neck ending the brute, two stabbed at his sides but he bent backwards and jammed 2 arrows into theirs eyes killing them.

as Jaune back-flipped two bandits jabbed at his back while another two came at him with spiked Gauntlets and would have gotten him if didn't focus his raw killing intent making them hesitate. The two behind Jaune were able to connect and stabbed Jaune in the back, but Jaune seemed unfazed as he threw the remaining arrows into the air and grabbed the hesitant attackers by their heads and smashed their heads into each other so hard they're heads bursted open spraying Jaune's body with their blood. Then Jaune grabbed the arrows out of the air and slammed them into the side of the bandits heads.

Now his focus was on the archers which made them snap out of their frozen states and begin shooting at Jaune trying to hit him but Failing at even scraping at his skin. Jaune did not hold back and ripped apart the archers back to back. An arm torn off, blowing holes into bodies with quick and deadly strikes, legs broken and snapped off, necks crushed, and heads ripped off with the spine.

Blood blanketed over the clearing, the trees were painted red and Jaune stood soaked in blood with animosity still raging inside him accentuating his shining red colored eyes. There was only one archer left and she was shaking and crying in fear but Jaune did not care for her suffering. He grabbed her by the neck and lifter her up to his level making her focus on his menacing eyes.

"Why did you hunt me specifically? I'm just a regular nomad to the world and yet you prepared a force capable of taking down huntsman. There is no way you could have known my power so who sent you!?"

"I-I-I don't k-k-k-know a-a-anything p-please let m-m-me g-go!"

"Cut the bullshit! I know you have information since that 'Leader' of yours was all brawn and no brain! You were smarter and had to have set the formation and strategy which explains why they all protected you till the last man. Now tell me who sent you!"

Before the girl could respond she was thrown back as Jaune hopped away from a bullet that was shot from a further distance into the forest. 'Another one? I was sure I killed all of them.' Three more shots came at Jaune making him focus and see girl peeking from behind a tree with a circular weapon. Jaune chose to finish this quickly and grabbed a dagger only to be stunned as the person shot and killed the bandit he was questioning. Jaune was now enraged and sprinted towards the killer but he saw her disappear into a black and red portal. He was so furious his sclera turned black making his blood red eyes burn brighter.

He saw one of his friends from the house across his uncles get pushed onto the ground and shot in the head by a pistol.

'No no no... I have to calm down *Inhales* *exhales* I can't let my hate control me again. I have become stronger now, nothing like that will EVER happen again.' He had to think about the bigger picture which was that whole ordeal with the bandits and that killer who had cut ties with that bandit tribe. 'None of it makes any sense... why would someone target me specifically, no one should know I exist since our tribe was "Wiped" from existence in the last world war. I know I'm special but the master had made sure to keep us a secret until we could build back our clan.' Jaune was extremely confused as to how they knew to prepare for him.

'Someone is watching me and I'm not sure why but whoever it is has dangerous knowledge, I know it is not someone from the Kingdoms as they would love nothing more than to see my clan dead. I don't want to believe it but... the only person who could have know, would have been someone from Shiyo. Someone sold us out that is the only thing I can think of.' Jaune couldn't believe someone would have Ill intentions towards his family but it would seem that he and his parents underestimated the honesty of some people in that village.

After a bit of time Jaune had calmed down and made it to the entrance of a Village which from the sign was named Zion. Jaune was greeted by a villager who had seen him walk in and had not recognized a face like his. The villager's name was Sia Grey. She told him that she works at an Inn and that it would be a good place to stay even though the price is kinda high. Jaune accepted the invitation but also asked if there was any jobs he could do to make money, the girl hesitated but reluctantly recommended to help at her job to which he accepted.

They walked towards the girl Inn job he noticed that the people were poorer than any village he had seen and that they were scared and depressed. This scene bothered him and made him think on it until he was interrupted by them arriving at the Inn. Later that day on Jaune's shift things were going well until a group of 3 men and 1 women who looked as though they were bandits strolled in. Jaune immediately saw the fear in the eyes of the customers that were drinking and eating in the main room. The 3 guys were moving around the room slowly making their way to the counter while the women immediately reached Jaune who was meant to serve people their drinks.

"Hmm~you are definitely new here. Not only that but you have a rather interesting appearance." Said the lady in a seductive manner. Clearly she had never seen someone so unique looking.

"I'm afraid I don't know everything for sure, but I think I know enough. What drink would you like some regular corona? Maybe some fine 25 year old wine? or some hard liquor?" Replied Jaune in an oblivious manner making the women blink. She ordered the most expensive wine they had and while Jaune was setting up her drink the other men had finished collecting money from the other customers.

"There that will be 150,000 Yen please."

"Hm it would seem as no one told you. This village is under the protection of the Fallion Tribe so we just take basic supplies for free. Not to mention we collect some money from anyone that is staying in the village even if they are just visiting." The women then pointed to the guys behind her who held bats wrapped in barbed wire not so subtly threatening Jaune. Sia stepped beside Jaune and started to tell the women that Jaune has only just got to the village but the white haired teen pushed her back.

"Sia I can handle this. You will pay for the drink or you will have to clean the rooms as a substitute for payment." This time the women got angry and picked up Jaune by his shirt. Jaune was surprised by her strength but immediately noticed that she was using Aura!

"Now you listen here buddy! I don't care if you're cute or new you will obey my order! whether you like it or not. There ain't no huntsman or huntress around to help you!"

"Are you sure about that little girl?" Everyone's attention was pointed towards the entrance of the Inn where four people stood side by side. "I heard a commotion going on in here and thought to check it out. Who knew I would find a group of bandits in rags ganging up on a defenseless boy." The speaker was a teenager with short-dark brown hair that had tips dyed caramel. She also had a stylish outfit consisting of a brown long-sleeve shirt, black pants with many pockets, black scarf, and numerous accessories such as gloves, a necklace and dark colored aviator glasses. The others standing with her had different sizes and colors as well as such as light green with an armored type clothing, Dark brown accompanied by light armor and some skin tights clothing, ending with a red color scheme with little clothing mostly black pants and an reddish orange sleeveless jacket.

The bandit lady pushed Jaune backwards making him crash into the drinks and watched as the bandits got their weapons ready and close to the tables. The women had brought out an iron staff that extended when she pressed a button. The staff also had spikes nearing the tip making it more dangerous as Jaune saw with his sharp eyes that there was-

"Coco that girl's staff has poison on those spikes at the end of it. I'm flexible enough to not get hit by her staff and I'm made for disarming those with weapons." Said the girl in dark brown who had bunny ears on top of her head which confirmed to Jaune that she was a Faunus. 'Interesting, I was sure no humans worked with Faunus. Especially when they are from the Kingdoms. with the kind of equipment they hold they must be huntsman and huntresses.'

"Brothers you will take out the two guys while I take on my fellow gals. Now get to it!" The trio of men immediately followed her orders and shoulder rushed the other two students knocking through the wall into the outside. "You girls better be prepared cuz I'm gonna turn you into chopped meat!" Shouted the bandit leader as she spun her twin sickles at high speeds raking them across the ground and then swinging them at the students. Vel hopped back immediately while Coco blocked the one coming at her and ran outside.

*Smash Crash Swoosh Crack*

"Hey Yatsuhashi." Said the student in red who was currently dodging a barrage of attacks from the trio of bandits.

"Yes Fox? It must be important if you are talking to me mid-battle." Replied the tall teen identified as Yatsuhashi. He was also currently blocking and throwing off the same trio.

"I figured out how they are so powerful and it is due to the way their Aura is. And it is not just that they have Aura unlocked." Spoke Fox as he finished looking for a weakness to defeat the menacing trio.

"Put it to use now Fox and I will follow immediately."

Fox nodded as he quickly capitalized on the trio being separated from each other by Yatsuhashi. Fox quickly engaged in a hand-to-hand battle with one of the bandits since his weapons were gauntlets with claws complimenting his slick movement. Yatsuhashi distracted the other two by dragging his war axe across the ground blinding the two with dirt. Fox ducked moved to the side as he was nearly hit by a combo attack, another swing and Fox noticed the guy had swung too hard so he slashed at his arm and chest and jumped away.

"ARRRRRGH" Shouted the man as he fell to his knee holding his now bleeding wounds. Yatsu was distracted by the noise and got hit in the head knocking him off balance. Fox jumped next to Yatsuhashi aimed his fist at the two bandits and closed them making the claws shoot out like spikes with chains. The two got scratched but took the opportunity to run towards their teammate. Yatsuhashi got up and watched as the trio stood together making Yatsu notice how the wounds stopped bleeding and started repairing itself. 'That is quicker than a normal human or even Faunus.' Yatsuhashi now understood and nodded to Fox.

"Interesting you are all stronger together because your Aura's are connected with one another almost as if you are one person. However when separated from a certain distance you are without an Aura. Whoever did that to you will pay for disturbing Nature itself. Still though you have killed and with glee so you are not clean."

Yatsuhashi and Fox focused on who spoke just now and saw the pale skinned individual behind the counter in the Inn. Yatsuhashi was about to get the civilian to move but Fox stopped him. "He can fight, I can tell by his stance. Always ready to move and strike hard. We should just fight with him it will help take the three down." Yatsuhashi just nodded in acceptance and dashed towards the trio with Fox and Jaune. The trio just rushed Jaune while one of them waited to engage Fox and Yatsu.

*Ching! Snap! Whoosh! Whoosh! Ching!*

"Now Velvet!"

"Okay!" Replied Velvet as she hopped over Coco and kicked the bandit in the face launching her away and finally breaking her Aura. Coco then clipped her briefcase onto her hip and launched Velvet towards the women. "God dammit! huh!? Hurrrk!" Velvet landed her second kick breaking the bandit's neck killing her instantly. Coco sighed as the fight was finally done. "Get the body Velvet we should get going since Fox and Yatsuhashi took down the Trio. Hm hey isn't that the boy that women was choking before we arrived? I guess he knows how to fight, interesting." Coco heard Velvet faintly say 'Yeah yeah.' as she walked to the rest of her teammates.

"Thank you so much for helping us today we really appreciate it. Since you need to stay for a bit before you're mission is confirmed as complete you can stay for free at our Inn and get some free food from around the village." Said the chief of the village to Team CFVY as they were called.

"Oh no it is fine we have money so we can pay for it on our own. No need to make a big deal out of this it was just our job after all." Spoke Velvet in her soft voice making the Chief smile.

"Nonsense you and that traveler will be celebrated in our village tonight with a festival! If you don't want to participate that is fine but we want to thank you anyway." And he just kept going on with Velvet not being able to convince him otherwise. Coco just went to talk to the 'Traveler' since he was the most interesting thing in the whole village considering his appearance. Yatsuhashi waited with Velvet while Fox went with Coco since he wanted to thank the man who fought beside him.

Strangely the man had cleaned up the mess in the Inn really quickly and still was not tired though he was sitting on the steps in the front. His eyes shifted towards them with a sharp look making Coco think. 'Hm he is probably just the type to not trust so easily. No problem for big sis Coco!' Coco was so busy observing Jaune that she hadn't noticed that they were right in front of him. 'Now that I get a good look at him... He is pretty handsome and he has some nice hair, his clothes though will need a lot of working o-'

"Coco! You wanted to talk to him?" Said Fox in an impatient manner snapping her back to reality. With the sudden realization that she had been staring for an embarrassingly long time she blushed. The white haired person's intense stare did not help.

"Right, sorry about that. *Cough* So, thank you for helping Fox and Yatsuhashi though they could have handled it on their own the help was very much appreciated."

"You are welcome for the assistance. I would like to know the rest of you and your team members since you helped save the village. I would also like to know why you act so friendly with a Faunus." This put Coco's mood off as she started to think he was a racist.

"And why would that be important? She is a friend and part of our team. We all bleed the same color so there is no reason to hate someone who looks different." Replied Coco quickly and harshly already starting to not like the guy but she never considered that he was asking since the other Kingdoms openly hate the Faunus. Fox considered this but before he could have said anything she had already assumed the guys position. Fox opened his eyes and noticed a flash of sadness in the eyes of the white-haired man before it was replace with a stony look.

"I don't have anything against the Faunus I was just asking, the kingdoms don't exactly get along with Faunus." Said the pale fighter. Coco looked surprised at that but then remembered that he was a traveler so he probably hails from a village.

"Then it would seem as though you have not been informed on the state of the Four Kingdoms. No worries we will relay it to you, but for now we rest since today has been quite long." Suggested Fox to which Coco nodded in agreement.

"Yeah I very much agree on that. I want to take a shower since we have been battling Grimm and Bandits on the way here." Agreed Velvet as she and Yatsuhashi joined them after getting away from the chatterbox Chief.

"Yes I would very much like to rest. Today has been taxing on the body." Finished Yatsuhashi as he was rolling his arms around.

"Oh and before we rest my name is Coco Adel."

"My name is Yatsuhashi Daichi nice to meet you."

"I'm Velvet Scarlatina nice to meet you!"

"I Am Fox Alistair it is a pleasure to meet you."

Everyone looked at him waiting for him to introduce himself since they had been curious about this bartender/traveler who knew how to fight. It very much intrigued them well it did Coco and Fox more than the others but he was still a mystery.

"Hello there, my name is Jaune The Traveling Vampire. It is quite the pleasure to meet you Team CFVY"

*BOOOOOM*

First chapter is out of The Guardian and I'm pretty good with how it turned out. To be truthful this chapter was originally going ot be smaller but my mind kept expanding on it leading up to a good place to start chapter 2 with. i have been busy again with school stuff so sorry this came out two days late. Anyway I hope you have found it to be interesting and as for Jaune be the main character well he is essentially a blank slate or placeholder so I can make him what I want or mold how I want so don't think of him as he who shall not be mentioned's self-insert. Think of him as Jaune the main character of The Guardian. I'm really excited for this story and I can't wait till you all begin to see the world and how I have changed it's history drastically.

I have many surprises in the coming chapters and beyond in this first Arc known as the Traveling Arc. I know not very creative but it is very relevant to what happens. And hey! Team CFVY is here and they will be very important for the story. I can't think of much to say so I love you all and hope you enjoy this story.

Hey! if you read till the end then you can find out that I will be also putting out another Fanfiction beside this one. But the other one will be a crossover and will be updated every two weeks or so since it is going to be kind of hard to write with school and this one.
