Hehe, I've been writing a lot lately. I wonder how long it will last...
"Nya, Oishi! I'm so excited for the picnic!" said Kikumaru happily, as he walked towards a shady spot underneath a tree.
"I am too, Eiji," replied Oishi, following Kikumaru with the blanket. "I hope the others will arrive soon..."
Oishi set up the blanket underneath the tree. "Oishi! What's taking them so long? Normally Tezuka would be the first one here!" whined Kikumaru.
Oishi sighed. "Eiji, that's because we arrived here extra early."
"I can't wait anymore! I'm hungry!"
oOoOoOoOo
15 minutes later, Momoshiro and Kaidoh arrived. Of course, they were arguing. "You eat too much!" said Kaidoh.
"Baka, it's a picnic! You're supposed to eat!" yelled Momoshiro.
"Peach butt!"
"Mamushi!"
The two tugged on the fronts of each others shirts as they tried to stare each other down. "Oi, you guys, stop it!" came a voice. Oishi was running towards them, followed by Kikumaru.
"Nya, Momo-chan and Kaidoh are finally here!" sang Kikumaru, glomping Momoshiro.
oOoOoOoOo
Another 5 minutes passed before Kawamura arrived. Sadly, he was in burning mode (who knows why he was holding his tennis racquet in the first place), so he wasn't really paying attention to the others' voices telling him to stop almost killing the little kids that passed by.
oOoOoOoOo
Soon enough, Echizen arrived, sipping his Ponta. When he had gotten there, Kawamura was still burning. He was wondering why it was so hard for the others to get him out of burning mode. "Mada mada dane," he said, tipping his cap.
oOoOoOoOo
Arriving just in time, Fuji and Tezuka came to break up the whole scene. "Nya, Fujiko!" yelled Kikumaru. "Help us take Taka-san out of burning mode!"
"Yeah, yeah!" agreed Momoshiro. "Kawamura-senpai is scaring all of the people passing by!"
"Ah, sou ka," replied Fuji.
Momoshiro and Kikumaru then pinned down Kawamura. Fuji opened his eyes in front of him, thus revealing its shockingly bright blue colour. Yes, this was his death stare. Seeing this, Kawamura dropped his racquet, as he almost fainted from the sight. "...Fujiko, you're too good at that," commented Kikumaru.
"Saa... why thank you, Eiji," said Fuji, eyes returning to their normal, horseshoe shape. "Tezuka, weren't you going to bring the food and drinks?"
Tezuka raised an eyebrow. "I thought Kikumaru would be bringing it," he replied.
"Nya? But I thought Oishi was gonna bring the food!" said Kikumaru, eyes wide. He turned to Oishi. "I knew you forgot something!"
"B-But Eiji, I'm pretty sure that Taka-san was going to bring sushi..."
Kawamura scratched his head. "You would think that, but I'm positive that I told you all that we've been running short on fish. Wasabi too," he added hastily, after seeing Fuji's eyes open a little. He turned to Momoshiro. "I thought you were going to bring the food," he said.
Momoshiro flinched. "Eh? Since when was I supposed to? I never said that I wanted to bring the food!"
"Stop whining," said Kaidoh.
"Are you picking a fight?"
"Fssshhh..."
Momoshiro gasped. "Hey, mamushi! I thought you were supposed to bring the food!"
Kaidoh looked at him. "Fssshhh... but I thought Echizen was supposed to bring the food." He turned to said person. "Weren't you sipping a can of Ponta a few moments ago?"
Echizen raised his eyebrow. "If you were thirsty, then sorry, I already finished it."
Oishi sighed. "Don't you have any other cans of Ponta at home? Knowing you, you would," he said.
Echizen rolled his eyes. "I would, but my baka oyaji drank the rest of them," he said, slight anger in his voice. "What, did you expect me to bring all the Ponta I had in my house here?"
"In a way..." Oishi said, shifting uncomfortably.
"Well then," came a voice from behind a nearby bush. Everyone gulped at how familiar the voice sounded. "Since there is nothing else we can have, why not try my new Super Deluxe Inui Hyper Remix Juice?"
Thus, the regulars' fate was sealed.
