This is the start to a new Pokemon story I am making, starting with several short stories of how Siri (the main character) and her Pokemon became united against the teams, starting with Cubone, the famous pokemon whose mother was killed in Leafgreen
I don't own pokemon
Cubone followed his mother out of the cave. Absorbing the warmth of the sun, he played with rocks as his mother watched him happily. Peace was always known in this land he lived on; the soil was fresh and soft, while humans and their companions traipsed through on their own adventures. The sight of humans and Pokémon together on a journey fascinated him, though his mother always pushed him deep into the caves when trainers were about.
One morning as the usual, the Cubone and his mother were out practicing defense techniques. Out of nowhere two humans wearing black, raced quickly towards them, pulling out burlap sacks and miniature explosives. A thickset male trainer stood a ways behind with a smug Persian, staring at the Cubone with a raw hunger for power.
"I want the Cubone taken back to the headquarters, but leave the Marowak. It's useless to the team. In order to make a nice profit off of Pokémon we need the young so we can train them to be brutal." He waved his hands in dismissal. "Blow up the cave after so we can pick up any other Pokémon that flee."
One trainer smiled evilly. "GRAB IT ARBOK!"
The Arbok arched its back and rushed forward with amazing speed. Baring it's fangs, it lunged at the Cubone, and pushed it to the ground, wrapping its body around him and constricting him.
"MAROOOOOWAK!"
Marowak grabbed a rock and hurtled it at the Arbok, knocking it out. As the trainer returned her Arbok, a male trainer took her place.
"That's enough fun and games. Venusaur. Do whatever it takes to make sure that Marowak doesn't keep interfering."
The monstrous Venusaur came out and roared loudly. Stamping its foot, vines shot out of the ground and proceeded at the Marowak. Eyes widening, Marowak pushed Cubone into the brush and looked at him, warning him to run. Cubone ducked into the brush and cried silently in horror watching the Venusaur advance onto the Marowak, grasping her with its roots and throwing her to the ground. Having fainted wasn't enough though. The Venusaur stomped onto her chest, and shaking it's flower, sent razor leaves right to her throat, killing her.
"That's enough. The Cubone fled so we have nothing left to do here. Let's leave and find another Pokémon to give Giovanni. "
As they left, Cubone scrambled out of the brush, towards his dead mother. He howled into the sky as the sun set, and sat next to her body as the moon rose. For the next few months he refused to move from the decayed Marowak, crying to the moon. One night out of nowhere a glitter of light flickered down, and her image at her strongest in life appeared.
Do not let my death stop you from living, she stared at him. I can watch over you from now on, but I cannot protect you any longer. There is a trainer with good heart seeking to end this group's tirade. She is heading to Lavender Town. I will guide her to you. Join her. Be victorious and earn back what was taken from you.
The vision disappeared and Cubone stood silently, new grief threatening to overcome him again. New determination lighting fire in his eyes as he grabbed her skull, placed it over his head, and took a bone in his hand.
Never forgive. Never forget. You will be ever close to me. I will find this trainer and I will claim your life. Cubone looked angrily into the sky and, clutching his mother's bone, raced deep into the woods preparing for his destiny.
