Hey there ;) This is my first story so please go easy on me. If Liley is not your thing, then please go back now. I don't like haters. So you've been WARNED. This story is rated T at the moment but could move on to M in later chapters :)
It was Lilly's first day back to school since the accident. She was terrified of what people were going to think of her when they saw the damage that had been done. But that was the past. She knows she has to move on now, but she doesn't know how. If only there was someone, someone who could show her the light, and lead her in the right direction.
Everything was fine 6 weeks ago. Lilly Truscott lived a happy life and was in good health. Until that dreadful night came, and her life had changed forever.
Two Months Ago
Lilly's Pov
"Hey Miles, what are you doing here on the beach this early in the morning? I thought you had a Hannah Concert last night?"
Miley looked up from where she was sitting and peered into the eyes of her best friend. "I..I was ill so we had to cancel." Lilly looked shocked because her friend had never cancelled a show before, even when she had laryngitis she still performed because her voice coach taught her how to sing without using her voice box.
"But, you seemed fine yesterday and you look okay now, a little edgy maybe.. what's up?"
Miley suddenly found the grains of sand beneath her feet very interesting. Lilly noticed she was uncomfortable in this situation, but she was her best friend, and she was going to get to the bottom of it.
Lilly moved closer to Miley and wrapped her strong, athletic arms around her best friends slender figure. She knew Miley always found comfort in her arms. They gave her a sense of security.
"You don't have to tell me yet, we can just sit here and enjoy the sunrise of that's what you want. You take all the time you need sweetheart" Lilly whispered in Miley's ear.
"Thanks" Came the soft reply. Lilly sat back and made themselves comfortable because she figured she's be there a long time.
