Kurama sobbed mournfully under a damp cave hidden in the moutains of Makai.

The rain drowned out his sounds of sorrow. Crying eventually took up all his breath,

and forced him to gag or cough in a way as if he couldn't breath at all. Kurama sniffled.

He buried his head into his arms. His eyelids became heavy and he fell asleep.

~

Hiei, Kuwabara, and Kurama were following Yuusuke through a path of thick trees.

The rain was pouring onto the trees and dripping constantly onto their already-wet heads.

Suddenly, Kuwabara paused from walking, and his eyes grew larger.

He became alarmed and yelled a clear warning to the others.

What he had sensed was a very high class demons.

They shot themselves out of the shrubs and bushes nearby, and attacked.

One of them fired a blow at Kuwabara, but Hiei flew in front of Kuwabara to defend his teammate.

Kurama heard Hiei's agonized scream in the distance.

~

Kurama woke up, startled with more tears. His body began to tremble.

His mind went crazy. His lips curved upward, showing a hopeless grin.

He began to laugh insanely, as he remembered when Hiei saved Kuwabara from death...

when he gave that shocked expression once he realized Hiei was dead...

when he had survived and Hiei did not. Kurama's bizzarre grin faded away into a sad frown.

He transformed himself into a depressed mood. Not being able to handle this all at once,

Kurama collapsed to the floor unconscious, with tears flowing down.

"Kurama, Kurama. Wake up. Kurama.", a familiar voice called out.

Kurama moaned and slid his tired eyelids up. He was back at Genkai's Temple.

Kurama raised his hand and glanced at his wrists. He hadn't remembered cutting them before.

"Hah? Yukina-san...Where's Hiei?!? Are the others okay?"

Yukina hesitated before nodding.

"Um...Yuusuke and the others are fine, but Hiei...."

She turned her head away painfully. Hiruseki gems clattered onto the smooth floor. Kurama's heart sank.

"Kuso...", he choked out.

Botan appeared at the door, not in her usual perky form.

Her face was solemn because of the situation,

but she was always the optimistic type no matter what the situation was,

even if it was revivication of the dead. She spoke.

"I have heard that in the Reikai, there is a hidden and well-guarded ressurection well where

Hiei can reincarnate his soul. I know he hasn't finished his sentence as a Reikai Tantei member,

but maybe Ko-enma sir can rearrange that."

Kurama's once bright and shining eyes were now dark and dull. They looked up with a hint of doubt in it.

"A ressurection well...somewhere in the skies above."

Botan paused.

"Well, at least i know where it is, Kurama-Kun. Third world, Reikai, east. Around where Chuei Castle is."

Botan smiled sadly, and Kurama stood up onto his legs.

"That will be our most obligatory goal", he spoke.

'From then on...', thought Yukina. She smiled as another tear rolled down her soft cheeks and formed

into a crystal, before it even landed.

"..Hai...", she replied softly.
