Ok! So first of all The Child Dilemma is still in the works. I'm not abandoning that. I suddenly had cute and fluffy ideas like this one.

And second this is a drabble that took place during The Birthday Synchronicity where Amy is asleep on Sheldon which I found so cute so I decided to write it. Please give positive reviews and enjoy!

The gang all sat in the waiting room at the hospital for Bernadette's baby to be born which takes a long time. Howard is with her and supporting like a good husband he is. Sheldon and Amy sit next to each other in chairs while Leonard and Penny sit behind them, his head resting on his wife's shoulder as they try and stay awake. Raj sitting nearby waiting and thinking, and Stuart is dozing in another chair.

It was around three in the morning and still nothing.

Sheldon reads a magazine when he notices Amy yawning as she couldn't keep her eyes open.

He asks softy, "Tired?"

She nodded sleepily in reply.

"Why don't you rest your eyes for a little while?" He asked soothingly stroking the hair out of her tired face.

Amy nodded yawning again and curls up in an uncomfortable chair.

He watches a moment and asked, "Amy? What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to take a nap?" She replied confused through a haze of tiredness.

Sheldon asked again, "Really? In that position?"

She huffed tiredly, "Sheldon, does this look comfortable? I can't lay down or even curl up my knees."

"How about you lean on me instead?"

Amy couldn't believe what she just heard. Her Sheldon asked her to lean on him. They have shared the bed together for about three months and he would object to it due to falling asleep on one side just on his back and waking up the next morning with arms around Amy, or her head on his chest. He now wants to make an exception for once as it is her birthday after all.

She asked sounding excited, "Really?"

"Isn't it obvious?" He questions back looking around the room. "You wouldn't achieve any REM at all if you don't."

She nodded as her eyes couldn't stay open any longer.

"Lean on me and rest your head on my shoulder," he says taking off her glasses carefully though she's holding onto them tightly.

Amy yawned once more and leans slowly into him. He feels so warm that she can feel herself drift off. Sheldon's free hand brushes another strand of hair around her face once more.

"Just rest my sleepy little lump of wool," he soothingly whispers and places a kiss on her head.

Heavy eyelids finally closing, Amy finally drifts off to dreamland feeling very comfortable knowing that her boyfriend is there for her.
