So, finished Dead Space Mobile not long after Dead Space 2, and this is my spin on what happened after Vandal left the reactor core. Enjoy, and tell me what you think.

Vandal sat in the reactor core of the Shard, her helmet discarded nearby, her head in her hands, as she contemplated her role in the death of Titan Station. To think that it was her fault that over a million people were about to die… it was painful to think about. Even her efforts to stop the inevitable spread of the creatures did nothing, thanks to that bastard Tyler. All her efforts, fighting her way to lockdown the crossover tubes, trying to right her wrongs, made fruitless by one man. She felt her eyes beginning to tear up. The inevitable death of the Sprawl's million inhabitants, on her head…

No, not just on hers. Tyler, and the Church were just as guilty. She looked up, wiping her eyes. She'd heard Tiedemann ordering evacuations several minutes after the death of the monster in the core… and she'd be damned if she didn't do something to help those people escape. Activating her RIG's medical functions, she felt the pain from her wounds lessen as the drugs began their work. Standing up, she checked her plasma saw and cutter. Her helmet, however… looking at it, she saw the damage the core creature's tentacles had done to it. It was caved in on one side, and she could see the twisted metal filling the interior. Shaking her head, she discarded it. There was a Sprawl store nearby, and as the Church had seen fit to hack its system to give her access to secure stock, she'd have no problem replacing it. Straightening her shoulders, she began walking towards the reactor exit. She'd atone for what she'd done, or die trying.
