Okeydokey it's December, the Traffic Graph's slates are wiped clean. And I think I'll take a break from The Heart of Life for something...Different. Showing that Mutant Animals all over the world were liberated after the events of The Tearing of the Veil. I bring you a character that was inspired watching a Let's Play of the first 2003 TMNT Video Game by an Australian YouTuber calling herself 'Re-Pixelated' I had recently been invited to a friends Cyberpunk 20/20 Game and I wanted to play an 'Exotic' character or Human who has bio-engineered themselves into an Animal-Like creature similar to the Splicers from Batman Beyond (Closest thing I can get to playing a Mutant Animal) I dreamed about playing that game and I came up in my dream with a Wolf Exotic I called Pixel Pup...You may ask if she's Australian why is she a Gray Wolf/Dire Wolf Hybrid and not a Dingo...For similar reasons if you're playing an African Animal or other Exotic in a New York City setting Evil Scientists will import exotic animals if that's what they want for their experiments...The reason Pixel is blue like 'Bluey' in The Mutation of Nubs is because a dark blue coat is a result of Splicing the Dire Wolf Gene into a Modern Gray Wolf. One last thing...This story was also inspired by a video by YouTuber A Murder of Pedals and their glorious trailer for their soon-to-be Campaign of a combination of TMNT & OS and some Horror Palladium RPGs specifically Nightbane, Dead Reign and Beyond the Supernatural
Pixel did not remember how she had come to Tasmania, she knew the Scientists she now lived with had told her they found her wandering the Forest as a Cub, feebly hobbling on her hind legs and murmuring incoherently. She clearly hadn't eaten in a few days when they found her...They took her in, washed her...Though she was remarkably clean for a creature that had been wandering the forest...Fed her and over the course of a few days she recovered though she could not remember anything about her past.
The group of Biologists who found her became a family around her, keeping her safe from other scientists who might seek to harm her...They created in their Research Center a cozy home for 'Pixel' as she decided to call herself as she discovered she had a love for video games and computers. While no one could be sure how old she was exactly when she was found, she seemed to be the equivalent of an eight year old Human Child when she was discovered that had been during 2002...Now the Year was 2006 and she seemed to be the equivalent of a 12 year old Human.
That was the Summer that the whole world was brought to a standstill by the Mutant Riots of New York from seemingly out of nowhere an army of Mutant Animals, later revealed to have been led by a female Mutant Sheep, successfully leveled a good portion of Queens and killed many innocent Humans. Before the US Military stepped in and with Technology they had gained from the Triceraton Invasion, destroyed a good chunk of the Mutant Army...And things got stranger from their as the boundaries between different Dimensions were briefly torn apart then...Mended as if they had not been torn at all...But everyone had memories of the chaos that had briefly ensued during that time.
But the one good thing that came from all this...Was the Declaration that Intelligent Mutant Animals are Persons and thus have the inalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, not just in America but in any Nation that wished to call itself civilized. Pixel heard her Scientist Family weep and cheer at the same time...Pixel herself gave an unashamed lupine howl of triumph!
When turning her eyes to the Television again, she caught sight of the four Ninja Turtles, which following the tale of the Attack of New York knew that they had opposed the Mutant Sheep. (Later revealed to be named Eleanor Capra) which had caused them to have to flee for some time as she had attempted to kill them...But it seems Eleanor had mended her ways...And was now granted to position of 'Mayor' of the new Mutant community of Forest. But it was the Turtles who had Pixel's attention...Somehow...Pixel knew she had to find a way to meet them somehow...She didn't know why But something deep within her told her, she had to meet with them. It probably wouldn't be too hard...Because now of course Australia would join the Nations giving civil rights to Mutant Animals. Surely it would just be a matter of arranging a trip to New York City…
At least that's how it seemed…
