He grabs at air,
As she gracefully flits away from his grasp.
Everyone told him to move on,
Forget about her.
But how can you forget about something,
That was your whole life?
They were happy.
But she was like a beautiful butterfly.
She had to spread her wings,
And be free.
But if he had known this would happen,
He never would have let her go.
But he did.
Now she's gone.
Forever.
He tries to remember the good times.
Running his hands through her long blonde hair,
Staring into her deep blue eyes.
But he knows the memories of her will fade.
