It took Saya a moment to register what had happened. Saya ran to the window after Liza, or whatever she was only to see Haji lying in the snow and Liza on top of him. Something broke in her when she heard Haji emit a cry of pain. It was such a foreign sound, and it chilled her to the bone. Saya never wanted to hear it again.
"HAJI!" shouted Saya, the anger rising above curiosity for her past and she refused to let Liza get off scotch-free for hurting him. Saya would not let Haji die (it was simply unthinkable) or that awful woman do anything else to him. Glancing back at Riku's room, Saya felt guilt rise in her throat at leaving him for Haji, but when her memories had started coming back to her there had been a bond remembered between them – and what was she to do, really? Let him lie in the snow and let further harm come to him while she wasted precious time running down stairs?
Fighting back her fear, Saya climbed on the window sill. Looking down, she shuddered at the four story drop but then she realized: Haji would do it for her. He'd do anything for her out of pure devotion.
Without another thought, she jumped.
AN: I really liked that one scene where Amshel/Liza reveals to Saya her past, but I liked when Saya jumped out of the window since before that we never really saw her jumping around. This is the product. Reviews/reads are appreciated. 220 words.
