CHAPTER ONE

Flipped, Again

How long can you go without knowing you had a twin sister? One year, maybe two? Three? Four? Five? Maybe even six. But my parents kept this secret from me for-guess-thirteen years.

I'm not sure how I found out that I have a sister. How I got my parents to tell me. But I know this: Her name is Caroline. Caroline Baker. Has a nice ring to it.

When I told Bryce he gasped. Bryce and I were becoming pretty good friends since he planted the Sycamore in my yard. It had really thrived over the past gasped and then her grinned.

"A sister huh? What's she like?"

"Well, Mom and Dad say she looks just like me."

"Well she must be beautiful then." Bryce said with a smirk on his face.

I blushed and grinned and swatted his shoulder. "Bryce!"

"What? It's true!"

I giggled. "Mom says she's coming to spend the week next week. Her name is Caroline."

Flipped. Flipped. Flipped. Flipped. Flipped. Flipped. Flipped. Flipped. Flipped. Flipped

In the time that passed to the next week, I thought about what Caroline-Cari-would be like. Bryce was right. She was beautiful. She was also rich and funny. But we shared some of the same interests. Gardening, reading. But she was a great writer. Me?
/Well, I wasn't. From the first day we met, we got along great. Until we didn't.

Author's Note: Yes, this chapter was short, yes, I haven't posted in a while but I'm back. I will update my first two stories, and a few may be in store shortly.

Stay Flipped!
