"Hello, I saw the ad in the paper, the one looking for housemates?" The young man had a smart, polite tone. The phone rested expertly between his shoulder and his ear, while he his hands held a broadsheet. In front of him was large desk, covered in papers of all kinds. Half the papers were open to the property advertisement page, with several scribbling's of writing; Phone numbers, Dates for viewings, hastily drawn circles. It appeared he had been engaged in this long arduous task for many hours. His brown hair ruffled, his cashmere sweater creased and rolled up at the arms. A large pair of neat black rimmed glasses resting askew upon his nose. The letters forced to the edge of the desk by this mass of paperwork bore the name 'Benedict Cumberbatch'

"Yeah, you interested?" The man at the other end of the phone had a smooth tone, Ben could tell he was probably good with women, a skill that has thus far eluded him. Women were complicated beings. Science was a far easier matter to explore.

"Well yes, is it possible to come and see the house first?" Ben quizzed, laying down the paper to pick up a red biro from the desk.

"Sure thing. Is it just you?" the man seemed to be in a hurry. Good thought ben, he was clearly a busy fellow and perhaps he wouldn't be around the house much. Ben couldn't stand noisy environments, He needed the quiet to focus on his studies.

"Me and an old Mate, Andrew" He shot back, equally as eager to be done with the conversation, this being the 23rd call he's made today.

"Alright, Well I'm free next Wednesday, say 3.30? You know where it is?" Decisive and to the point, Ben decided he like this very much, the last call had been to an old woman, very lovely lady, a Mrs Hudderson or something, but she just would not shut up. She insisted upon telling him about her last tenants. 2 lovely boys she said, but they "slept in the same room, dispute there being 2 rooms, Now I think they were both swinging for the other team, not that there's anything wrong with that. Lady up the road had a couple of them, and they were 2 of the loveliest people you'll ever meet" and on and on she went.

Ben refocused on the conversation at hand and realised he hadn't yet replied;

"Of course I do. Thank you for your time. See you Wednesday" and without waiting for a reply he hastily hung up and dropped the phone lightly on the desk. He scrawled the information down on the nearest paper and stretched his arms, causing his sweater to stretch over his slender torso. He yawned and adjusted his glasses.

"Andrew" he yelled as he stood up and turned to the door. "Andrew I think I've found somewhere"

A shorter, shy looking guy appeared in the doorway. His clothes were neat and his hair was short and parted down the side. A nervous smile played on his lips.

"oh um ok" he said quietly

"Branagh Road, in Mendenham City, 10 minute walk from the university"
