Sai didn't know how to react to the Uchiha boy's confession. He had never even spoken to him before now, and he suddenly claims to love him? Naruto never talked about his "brother" forming these types of bonds, in fact, he mentioned that Sasuke went out of his way to avoid matters dealing with the subject of infatuation towards other human beings.
Sai was starting to think that he should have stayed in Konah instead of pursuing Sakura to inform her of his hypothesis.
~Earlier That Day~
Sai was trying to find Sakura and tell her of Naruto's motive for trying so desperately to bring Sasuke back to Konoha, when he felt like someone other then the two root anbu Danzo assigned to track him and insure that his loyalty wasn't wavering. The new stare seemed admittedly more intimidating then the two anbu who where foolish enough to think that merely masking their chakra would be able to hid their presence from him.
Suddenly, the wind blew, as if an omen that something terrifying was about to happen. His sensitive hearing picked up two distinctive thuds in the locations where he had previously sensed the other two root members.
"Who's there?", Sai asked, unnerved by the fact that whoever was following him was strong enough to kill, or at least knock out, two of Konoha's strongest organization's members with seemingly no effort at all.
A pair of blood red eyes suddenly swirled to life in the darkness behind him, and their bearer released a sinister chuckle. "Come out, whoever you are!"
"Forgetting me so soon, are we? After all the drama you caused, I would think that you would be able to remember. I certainly did."
"Uchiha Sasuke!"
"Now you remember me, my dear artist!", The Younger of the two said with a smile almost as fake as the older usually sports.
"What do you want?", Questioned the artist, who was slowly backing away.
"The question is not what I want, but who I want."
