Okay, here's a little poem I wrote about Mick Foley's legend of a
career. PS: I know he's back now as the commish, but its still a good
poem. So read it, and please review:
The fateful Sunday night
The career ending fight
You fought with all your might
But Triple H was right
Cause live on Pay-Per-View the dust you would bite
You entered the ring with an obligation
The fans gave you a standing ovation
That night ended a wrestling sensation
15 years of thrilling the nation
You got much more than simple recognization
A couple months later, Linda gave an indication
That your career wasn't in complete termination
You'd go to Wrestlemania, though Triple H demanded an explanation
Your wrestling career will be missed
When I heard it was over I got pretty pissed
You fought and wrestled in your own unique way
Sold millions with your book "Have A Nice Day"
And your memory and spirit are here to stay
Pink Slip On A Pole, Hell In A Cell,
Steel Cages, "I Quit", all these matches and you lived to tell
Hardly any teeth, a missing ear
Nothing scares you cause you have no fear
You've been through all the blood, sweat, and tears
Throughout every one of your 15 years
Of your legend-in-its-own-time wrestling career
No more matches with your famous trademark sock
No more matches with your famous limping walk
Japanese King Of The Deathmatch, WWF Champ
I sure will miss seing you walk down that ramp
Say goodbye to Dude Love and all of his chicks
I got two words for ya: "Thanks Mick."
