Even In Death
Disclaimer: I don't own Weiss Kreuz or this song.. Blah, blah, blah
Summary: Incredibly angsty Farfie/Braddy song fic. What does Farfie do when Brad is no longer there to soothe his inner aching?
***
Midnight began drawing upon the dark cemetery, as tendrils of wind played with the tombstones and weeds that grew near them. One single figure stumbled around, searching for the one tomb that contained the body of the one whom had once been his love, his life. And he still was.
Give me a reason to believe that you're gone
I see your shadow so I know they're all wrong
One single golden eye swept across the names on the grave markers, rapidly searching for the one he wanted to find. The putrid smell of bittersweet rotting flowers filled his nose, but his senses were too numb with either grief or determination to notice the stench.
Moonlight on the soft brown earth
It leads me to where you lay
They took you away from me but now I'm taking you home
Finally they sunburst eye reached it's destination. BRADLEY CRAWFORD read the pale, etched writing on the gravestone. The young Irishman with the yellow eye fell to his knees in front of it. How long had it been? Two months, three maybe? Fucking Weiss had finally proved themselves to be too strong for Schwarz. Farfarello would never forget the sickening sound of the katana of that red headed bastard's katana piercing Brad's heart. He may have been immune to physical pain, but this was worse. He couldn't numb himself to this. This was inside him, throbbing and alive, tormenting whatever was left of his soul and heart. What the fuck had happened after Brad had died? Schuldig would suddenly vanish for days and Nagi had become more of a recluse as usual. No one was there to ease his inner turmoil, but that didn't matter. That's how it had always been until that beautiful October night when Brad had finally smiled at him and pressed those soft lips so gently against his. They had made love that very night for the first time. But Brad was gone now. At least to the world. Not to Farfarello himself.
I will stay forever here with you
My love
The softly spoken words you gave me
Even in death our love goes on
The madman's lip curled and he raised his head to the sky. "Fuck you! How could you do this to me?! How could you take the one sacred and dear thing to my life away!"
He covered his face with his hands and screamed. Suddenly, the expression of anguish turned into one of amused vengeance. "You think you can keep us apart? We'll be together again. Sooner than you planned. Sooner."
Some say I'm crazy for my love, Oh my love
But no bonds can hold me from your side, Oh my love
They don't know you can't leave me
They don't hear you singing to me
Drawing up his dagger for the last time, Farfarello grinning at his lover's grave. "I'm on my way, Brad." He then plunged it into his skin, tearing at his veins. At first he thought death would hurt, but a warm sense of relief filled his heart. A sweetness he had experienced before, only in the more forgotten times of his life, before God turned against him. It was Brad coming for him, he could tell. They were finally together, un separable, to the end. And no one, not Weiss, not Esset, not God Himself would ever keep them apart again.
And I can't love you, anymore than I do
The End.
