'On and on, does anybody know what we are living for?' She mused. The light of dawn broke through her window illuminating everything in her room. Regina glanced at the emptiness that was her house. Like her it was a hollow shell with nothing left inside it. She continued to stare blankly at her wall as she sat in her bed. Inside her heart was breaking but she face was completely smooth. She couldn't find the will to carry on with this life. This empty show façade that she continued to play and so Regina started to pack. She took a few suits, a few books, and one picture. She left behind everything in that mansion that was her home for 28 years and walked to her car. She placed her things in the passenger seat and turned the car on. She sat there for a time just looking at her house and reflecting on her life in Storybrooke. She felt lightheaded but ignored it. The car continued to chug away as it waited to be used. She felt her eyes getting heavy and so she closed them.
Emma walked to the mansion. She saw Regina's car in the driveway and it was on. Smoke was billowing out the exhaust pipe. So she went to go check. Inside she saw Regina who looked to be asleep. "Shit" she cursed as she broke the window and pulled Regina out. She went to check her pulse but it was too late. Regina was gone.
