A/N: I never thought I would write something, I don't feel I have any talent or patience for it, but here I am. I was also sure I didn't like fan fictions based on or written around songs and yet again here I am writing down this thing heavily inspired by Alan Walker – Faded, incredibly good song that I advise you to listen to while reading, hopefully my rambling story will make more sense like that.

The people has already started to talk about a curse weighting on the Arendelle royal family, they never do in front of Elsa, but the hushed whispers are difficult to ignore.

Where are you now.

She can't sleep, the empty bed it's too cold, even for her.

Where are you now.

The days are starting to fade together, each filled with more pointless bureaucracy engineered to keep her busy.

Where are you now.

Sometimes while Anna keeps on chattering away she dozes off, when she wakes up she's gone.

Where are you now.

With sleep deprivation the lines start to blur, it's the snow falling outside real? She doesn't know anymore but does it matter?

It used to, it meant seeing the only smile that ever mattered; the smile that was meant for her and her alone; the smile that made the monster inside her yearn for touches and kisses that she shouldn't want.

Where are you now.

Her advisers realize something is very wrong but are at a loss on what to do so they keep on going hoping against hope that time will change the situation.

Where are you now.

She's found ancient documents in the castle library about Atlantis, the lost kingdom that used to be between Arendelle and Corona and she knows that's where she has to look, under the sea.

It's the only logical explanation for the second shipwreck that has hit her in less than ten years, she's quick to arm a ship and leave leading the searches herself.

When they finally reach the islet Anna is there, a little worse for the wear but alive; she runs to her.

Where are you now.

When she lift her head the council is peering at her with uneasiness.

Another dream.

It's then when she finally admits to herself she's lost, it's then when she decides to let everything go.
