Spell Disaster

A crossover challenge for anyone to take up

SUMMARY: In which John gets a teaching position at Hogwarts, and it all goes to hell from there.

Okay so this is more of an idea sorry but please give it a go. I think this would turn out hilarious:

John is actually a (freakin' awesome/powerful) wizard and gets a letter stating that's he's needed/wanted at Hogwarts to teach DADA. Sherlock, who is purely muggle, finds out of course and demands to go with John or [insert creative threat hither]. Dumbledore/Hogwarts is really desperate apparently, because when John explains his predicament they allow both to come. Worst idea ever.

These below are just some suggestions for the story (if anyone wants to give it a go). Recommended, but not required:

*During Harry's 5th year, so John replaces Umbridge (because really, nobody wanted her there anyway).

*As mentioned, John is a BAMF wizard, and it turns out he is also a BAMF in a lot of other things such as being a teacher and healer. So much in fact, that the whole student body, staff, and even wizarding society love/respect/adore him.

*Unfortunately for John (and everyone else), Sherlock is not. Being Sherlock, he tries to experiment on everything/everyone, freaks everyone out, puts him and John constantly in danger, and overall being an utter prick.

-On a brighter note, John has a way to properly "motivate" students to turn in assignments/behave in class, or face an hour with Sherlock as detention.

-Bonus if Snape suddenly becomes more appreciated (and he doesn't know whether to be pleased or step up his game).

*Sherlock and John of course become involved in defeating Voldemort. Somehow.

-Sherlock also figures out the Horcruxes and yes, deduces that Harry has one in his head. Poor john can't figure out why his friend keeps trying to kill Mr. Potter. Harry of course, is terrified.

* Really more of humor adventure story, but a bit of romance can come in (if author writing wants this, of course.) If so, hopefully just a hint of it and nothing that will cause huge focus on and/or makes the character's really OOC.

If anyone wants to give this a go or has more ideas, just review or PM me. I will look forward to reading what people will come with!
