She asks him about these Chords of Steel he keeps bragging about and when he explains, she blushes and looks down, then, shyly, quietly asks if he could teach her.

He loves the color of her hair, how dark and glossy it is, how it veils her face every time she tilts her head to look at the sketchbook in her lap, but then he realizes that he's started smiling; he quickly straightens and reverts to his deadpan expression so that she can finish drawing him.

He sometimes wonders why Mr. Wright hasn't adopted her (he's already taken in Apollo and Trucy quite easily), and he's mentioned the idea to him once or twice, but the response is always the same: "Ask your mother."

She'd always thought, before the trial, that Drew Studio was that warm, cozy place that she never wanted to leave, but now as she returns home from the Anything Agency and flicks on the light and feels only cold and death, she feels like crying - I miss him, I miss him, I miss him.

He realizes that she may never stop flinching every time he tries to put his arm around her, or hug her, and he sighs in disappointment when she instinctively pushes him back when he puts his hand on her shoulder, but then he just takes her hand and squeezes gently, smiling; "It's okay; this is enough for now."

Hello, all! I've noticed that there aren't many stories about this pairing (one of my all-time favorites), so I've decided to use this opportunity to write a long series of one-sentence drabbles. My goal is to reach fifty sentences total (ten chapters, five sentences each), but that largely depends on the reviews I receive; after all, this is my first time trying something like this.
