Missing you

Haruka sat by the window sill holding a cup of steaming hot water in his hand. He watched the rain drops fall from the sky onto the ground and listened to the relaxing sounds they made. This comforted him. He missed him. He looked at the small table that was next to him with an unfinished letter he was writing it read "It's been a while since you have gone and I am still thinking about you every day I miss…" He quickly turned away. Haruka held the cup close to his chest, the warmth reminded him of… him. Days have passed, weeks have passed but he still feels as empty as the day he left. I mean it was not like they have broken up or anything. He left because he had to study abroad to "better their futures". At first Haruka was very sceptical about the idea but then realized how childish he was acting. He didn't think about how this would benefit for them he only thought about how he was going to be left alone like a dog waiting for his master to return home. Haruka slummed into his chair and stared at the clock. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Each second felt like an hour. Haruka kept himself strong by thinking prompts like "Every second that passes is a second closer for him to come back" even though that was true. It still felt like forever. He missed him. He missed him so much it ached.

The house was silent. The rain had stopped. The water had gone cold. Haruka was alone.

Haruka sat on a small chair by the window sill and watched the sky the sun appeared from the rain clouds. On his mind, he couldn't stop thinking about all the things he did with him the good times, the bad times all the moments worth cherishing. Ha, he smiled to himself "I'm acting like he died or something" he said to himself but that only hurt him more. He couldn't stand losing him never mind being away from him. He cleared his mind of the terrible thought and sat in silence and started to go into a bit of a daydream just staring outside the window in a daze.

He snapped out of his daze when he heard a knock on the door? Oh, who could this be, A friend? The postman? He slowly got up from his chair and walked to the door like he had no life in him. After he left he did nothing with any passion or showed sign of actually caring about anything. Not even water. He opened the door. His heart almost jumped out of his chest. His eyes filled up with tears, without any hesitation he wrapped his arms around the person standing there. The two men hugged. Haruka never felt so happy. It was him. He was back. "I missed you so much" said Haruka with an emotional tone in his voice the man held both of Harukas hands and looked at him straight in the eyes and smiled as tears of happiness ran down his cheeks "I missed you two" The two men lips pressed together to form a passionate kiss. Haruka finally felt whole again.
