He had just lost her and she was not coming back and there was nothing he could do now. He had already made her leave . He was having troubles going to sleep remebering the night that he had made that promise.

He had kept that promise all these years and didn't plan to brake it. He wanted her to know that even though they had been over for the past five years he still loved her. He wanted her back. Not just quick glances at work but all that extra time they has spent together that had made them both smile like a little kid at a candy shop. He missed her and it was killing him. She knew he still loved her but never said anything until that night when she drived by his house and saw all the lights on

Was it possible that was for her. It could'nt be it had benn five years. No guy could love her that much but tim did . The next day when tim went to work it had begun like a regular day at NCIS headquarters. They had a case and he was sent to help Abby in her lab but what happend next he would never forget.
