A flat note. The sound that everyone dreaded. She was gone forever now.

Silence filling the room only for a moment, and then, everyone cried. They yelled. They even shook her in hope that her eyes would open again and everything would be alright.

But, that never happened.

But, he was in denial, so her sat by her side for hours, still hoping that she would wake up and they could go home together and live out the rest of their lives.

He just kept imagining the two of them living a happy life together, free of worry. So, he just sat there until the doctor finally came in and told him that he should probably be heading back home….

He opened the door. The house was as quiet as ever. It felt so….

Sad. Empty. Broken.

All of those words could also describe his heart right now. He was just sad, empty, and broken without her.

He glanced around the apartment, and different memories of them together started to fill his mind. The two of them sitting on the couch, her reading a book and him just flipping through TV channels, nothing catching his interest. Then, he looked at the kitchen. All of the times that they had started their own little food fights ,throwing things like flour at each other's face. Then, he saw he room down the hall.

All of the times they had spent in her room just talking there, laughing, and telling secrets to each other. Just being happy as if nothing bad could ever happen to them.

He wanted to cry as he remembered everything they had been through together. But, he had to be strong.

For her.

His meister, his best friend, and his secret love.

He'd never gotten the chance to tell her that though. He regretted that he hadn't now. He'll never get that chance now.

Now he was all alone.

Darkness filled him and clouded all other emotions as he that about all of the good things she had done in her life. He wondered what she had done to deserve this in the first place.

This was all just a cruel twist of fate.

He wanted her back so badly. But, he knew he couldn't do anything about that now.

Then, he did something that he thought he'd never do. He was weak, and he had no other options at that point. He only wanted to be with her…

So, he took a gun and pressed the barrel to his temple and slowly pulled the trigger.

They would be together again.
