Loren Tate looked around wondering how something as beautiful as the world could be in her hands. Her "spot" that she had been coming to for answers had always been a lifeline. Besides her mom of course.
Eddie- That was beautiful.
Loren jumped up and turned around, trying to see the mysterious voice that sounded familiar. Eddie Duran! The voice was Eddie Duran! Dumfounded, she had no clue what to say to the worldwide rockstar.
Loren- Thank you, I think
Eddie- Anytime. Now do you want to tell me what is going on here?
Loren- I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Other than the fact that you are in my "spot" and I have never seen a soul up here.
Eddie- Well then, I guess you do know what I am talking about. Because I am a nice person, we can play for it. This has always been the place that I go for inspiration and… Hey! I know you!
Loren- I am simply Loren Tate from the valley. Not many people have the pleasure of knowing me. Can I ask how you know me?
Eddie- My contest. You entered didn't you? I heard your video and I just heard you sing. Both songs were beautiful. And I will have to say, my manager, Jake, he only showed me the best of the best videos. And I have a gut feeling that I have heard those lyrics somewhere else.
Loren- That's really cool that you remember me! And that means a lot coming from you, Mr. I'm Eddie Duran.
Eddie- Hey, now. Don't be hating on the Eddie train. I just happen to be pretty cool. And I guess because you know of the coolest spot in L.A., that makes you pretty cool too.
Loren- Can I get that in writing?
Eddie- You think you are so funny!
Loren- Sorry to burst your cool factor but I have to get to work now.
Eddie- Where do you work?
Loren- Just at a little cafè in the valley. A place you probably don't spend much time in. Gotta run. Bye!
Eddie- Let me at least walk you to your car. Lead the way.
Loren was extremely shocked that this rockstar was so down-to-earth and fun to be around. Not that she has ever got to meet another rockstar in person. As Loren gets in her car, Eddie sets her guitar down in the backseat. They both hear the death cry that her car is now making. Eddie starts to laugh hysterically as Loren starts to have a melt down.
Loren- NO! This cannot be happening!
Eddie- Don't worry. I can drive. My car is just over there.
Loren- You would do that for a person you just meet?
Eddie- Well, she seems nice and she distracted me from a dark place. If you have been living under a rock, I just broke up with my long time girlfriend, or fiancé, what ever you want to call her. Long story short, she lied and cheated the entire time we were together.
Loren- Oh, Eddie, I'm so sorry.
Eddie- Yeah, so this is why I have to say thank you now. Thank you, Miss Loren Tate.
Loren- Anytime, Mr. Eddie Duran. But if I could get a favor now, that would be great.
Eddie- And what would that be?
Loren- I really do need to get to work or I will get fired!
Eddie- Oh my god! Right! How did I forget so easily? You are really good at distracting me. Come on, lets go.
