A/N: This was written for next_gen drabble. The prompt was Rose/Teddy and "teach me"
Rose walked into the living room, where she caught Teddy snogging Victoire for the second time that evening. She had been embarrassed the first time she stumbled upon them, but now it was getting tiresome. She whirled on her heel and left the room, her face flushing.
This is what happened when you had too many people in too small a space, but still. It was intolerable. Rose didn't know why it bothered her so much. Who cared what Teddy did, anyway? He had a reputation as a bit of a ladies' man, and if Victoire wanted to play with fire, then that was her problem, not Rose's.
She was startled by a noise behind her, and she whirled around. "Teddy!"
The boy had turned into a man, and he smiled rakishly, pulling his hand through his hair. It fell disarmingly across his brow, and Rose had to clench her hands to still them and keep from sweeping the errant locks away. Damn him for being so handsome!
"Rose," he smiled in response.
Her traitorous heart fluttered.
"What do you want, Teddy? What could possibly pull you away from the activities that had you so captivated all evening?"
Teddy's brows raised at her waspish tone. "Jealous, are we?"
Rose's face burned. "Of course not! I just think it's a little inappropriate, that's all. If you want to behave like that, you could... you should..."
"Get a room?" Teddy prompted, grinning.
Rose pursed her lips. "You are so crude!"
Teddy leaned in. "Oh, come on Rose, we both know you want me. And if you had ever been kissed properly, you'd know that passion doesn't always confine itself to the proper place."
Rose's mouth fell open in shock. "You are just the most arrogant—"
Teddy didn't let her finish. He closed the distance between them and pressed his lips to hers.
Rose was about to protest, but the feel of his lips on hers was a jolt of electricity to her system. She found herself opening up and kissing him back for all she was worth. In fact, before she realized what was happening, she heard a gasp, and in horror, she saw Victoire standing there staring at them. She hurriedly broke out of Teddy's grasp, her face flaming.
"Victoire, I'm so sorry," she managed, but Victoire was having none of it.
"Don't bother apologizing, Cousin," she hissed, and left the room.
She turned to Teddy, who was grinning. "See? Sometimes stuff just happens. Don't worry, you're family. It'll be fine."
Rose glared. "You don't know a thing about women, you jerk!"
Teddy laughed. "I suppose you think you're the one to teach me?"
Rose sniffed. "Not if you begged me." She walked past him.
He smacked her butt as she went by. She stiffened, but kept walking. His laughter followed her down the hall. Damn it if the sound of it didn't thrill her.
